Here it is, the first custom on this forum. This one is a collab between my friend and I.His name is ingot, and yes, The bad paint and scratches are purposeful. They are meant to signify weathering and war damage. This seasoned medic is ready for any battle, weather it's just megatron, or the entire decepticon armada!

A work in progress is on the way. However, I cannot reveal it to y'all yet... Only one person will know first.

This look VERY interesting! ;)^

BTW, you can edit your posts for a better page layout.

I also recommend using IMGUR.COM for your image hosting. Free and convenient.

Man this camera SUCKS. Well, anyways, to make some fake sun damage, I darkened the end of the hood a little with some crimson paint. The head was sanded down slightly to give it a sorta g1 bumblebee-looking head. The gun had a circle on it painted red then had some burn marks put onto it with some light dabbing of black paint.I know, not that interesting or original, but its a work in progress, so bear with me!

Now, a small origin on racer, why not?You see, Racer crashlanded in a barn, and in fear of getting caught instantly, he decided to scan a old 93 Eclipse to blend in fairly easy. The car was sorta common(In 1990 anyways), so he decided to use that. Over time, the small scavenger met Wagnerus in the year 1997. They got along fairly easy, and racer joined to autobots. Thats just the small version anyways ;)

Now, on the secret character, I decided to take a unique approach to this certain character.I decided that this spy takes on a barely road legal street racer. Now, admittedly, this may not fit him, but really idc. This is my unique take on the character, and im gonna stick with it!

Lets take one last look at our base bot before he gets turned into a completely new bot.

So it's just a light mod for that Cliffjumper. Sure, with a better camera, the difference would be noticable.

How about going to the local pawn shop or the classified for an old digital camera? With the smartphone onslaught, many got rid of their old camera or want to get rid of it. You can get something half decent for a reasonable price. And usually, they use standard SD cards.

You'll just have to upload your pictures on IMGUR. then copy the BB code and paste here. You'll get the best pictures for cheap!

The camera I use is something very old that was given to me over 15 years ago. It's not really good but it does a solid job as you saw. I'm pretty sure with a bit of digging, you can get something nice for cheap.

Happy hunting!

Then hunting I shall go! now, on cliffy, this is just the beginning. Light paint will come 1st, but some more mods will come later. Also, any ideas on what I should customize on him? I wanna make him more unique, but idk what to do.

Well, it depend on what you want. Does you want CLIFFJUMPER, or do you want something unique? Because if he must remain Cliffy, you don't have to do much. If you love Cliffy, I'd advise to get a second one that you will not touch.

But if you want to get CRAZY and do something unique, I'd go nut: I'd change the head completely first. Then I'd change how the arms work completely to give him a brand new and fully transformable vehicle mode without partsforming. This may give the bot huge gorilla like arms but we are here to have fun, right?

I'll see what I can do to change the head and back end, but I wanna keep the arms as they are.The front hood is gonna get some severe modding!Same for the back end too, cause I wanna make it more like a Eclipse. Some rounding out will definitely be done.If I cant find a new head, severe modding will be done.

You should look around flea markets, thrift stores, and garage sales for SCRAP Transformers. It will give you lots of material to work with and will give you ideas and inspiration to make something unexpected!

Ok.this was about all I could find at the thrift, in a small bag. It seems to be a bunch of cyberverse bumblebee parts. Think they could work for the custom?

No idea. This, you'll have figure it out yourself. See what work, experiment, and don't be afraid to cut, saw and slash things.

The parts were deluxe cyberverse bee doors, torso with arms, a front car piece, and the other 2 were spark armour bumblebee shins

To be honest, if I cant find compatible parts, I am making a movie, and could just paint him to be a minor character from a mish-mash of parts. This charcter will probably get ripped in two XD(cyberverse, not the cliffy)

Found a siege bluestreak that cannot transform completely into robot mode, a hinge is stuck. He is scratched up, and is another bot I shall use to improve my custom bot. Any suggestions what I should try to switch out? Also, I am getting rid of the air intake on the hood, cause like I said, More Eclipse like, etc etc.Anyways, basically, progress is being made!=)

Hey, so little gem I found. I introduce kbb mcs-02 Hornets Agent. Man, this is WAAAAAY superior looking to mp-45. Maybe robot mode isnt cartoon accurate, but vehicle mode is! Considering picking him up for my b-day.(also yes, im aware this is a chug size h1 flipper)From video reviews, he scales great with earthrise!

Eh, he's just a repainted cyberverse stingshot bumblebee. Nothing too special. My current project is converting a earthrise cliffjumper into my own custom character. I called him racer, and currently Im converting it from a porsche-starion mix to a Mitsubishi Eclipse. The head was sanded at the side to make it look more like g1 bumblebee. I also have a secret project that I wont reveal yet ;) Either way, im finally getting in customizing

Btw, I got some news worth stuff. After browsing ebay, I have noticed that some people from japan are selling earthrise bumblebee really early. Not only does it hint japan has them early, but also that some of us can get our hands on one early. Prices are crazy, but man its the bumblebee i've always wanted! considering picking him up.

Keep up the good work and like I said, try to find a used but decent digital camera.

Because a good picture is worth 1000 words! ;)^
