After I seal him I can put him back together..but work and stuff...

Sadly, the sealer I need I just can't find anywhere. So after a long week I screwed him back down.
He needs a couple touchups maybe. But he pops with the color shift paint I out on him.
I am going to take pics of him outside in the sun..but

I've added another color scheme to him to give a more metalluc look.
I have just now added black accents, but I may spray them too.

It's real hard to capture in an image how much

Hmmmmm...are you going to repaint him into Energon Six Shot, but leave a purple Death's-Head-Cylon on each shin?

Or do some generics from 5 Faces of Darkness? This may well be the best Shockwave mold to troop-build with for that purpose. Or at least he will be if every type of Core Shockwave currently pegwarming gets clearanced.

Either way, so far, so good!

I think I will do two versions of him

And some "Generics"
Optimus is itching for battle

The paint is still wet
The torso, the head then the chest

I really wish I could melt clear red plastic and fill the chest in. But I don't have that tech

I had to destroy Studio Ravage to harvest his tail.
It was on one of two pins that hold the body together.
I tried to hammer the pin out to no avail.



I will need two more to give Six Shot his satellite arm

While I am still slowly progressing with Sixshot, the Ravage graveyard will show that, I felt compelled to splash my new Core Ratchet with some more red.




So much paint potential
I can't wait (but I will) to take the tape off

I liked Rumble out of the box fine except missing chrome on the weapons




I will end up getting several of these I think

I wanted to share with ya'll my Skullgrin repaint.
Think of him as Grimgrin, an upgraded version
if you will.
A simple reskin,but I like that.


The addition of the new beast battlemasters kick him
off for me. They give him a Trapjaw appeal to me.
I will paint them as well.
I will pick up another Cheetor and give him dual cat/blades too.




Bio:
As Skullgrin followed his prey farther into the cavern
he encountered a dark substance, seemingly glowing and dark as blindness at the same time.
Upon touching it he was transformed inside and out. His mind altered, no longer submitting to Decepticon or Autobot indoctrination Grimgrin operates only to serve the purpose of the dark substance.
What is this purpose?

Images from the beginning of my newest project
show just how perfect a toy specimen for a machination
to fruit:


Studio Sludge.. I began to think about how easy it
could be..
At an auto parts store.. I had found the perfect color paint. I bought Sludge the next moment we met in the toy aisle.
..but for my greedy needs..I needed something to live!
I put another project on hold to create a personal grail.



That would be of any member of my Slagcons team on Seibertrons
Heavy Metal War.
My main goal when joining this site was to play a Transformers
themed game. So naturally to own a figure of solo desire, one must do for oneself.



Through the years I have seen some really cool stuff people have crafted. I have taken ideas and concepts and used them as inspiration for my baby. And baby liked to shake a big maracas

So I had to make sure he would have his classic weapons.
From an early time he used what sells as a mace
And currently uses a lightsaber. But to make a mace..




And I still have not completed it, but here is the roundabout idea
