I never read the original Marvel Transformers comics in the 1980s so I had no nostalgia for Death Hand.



But that character is pretty damn cool fun and is a clear inspiration for Lockdown. So I had to buy his Marvel Legends figure. It is the only ML figure that I own.



Then, I saw at AliExpress that they sold a Death Hand head to fit on the Legacy Jhiaxus body.



The horns where a bit too long and fragile, impeding his transformation. So after many mods and repainting...



And creating some original accessories including a mele weapon, a gun, a shield, and the shoulder-pads...



Here's Death Hand as an actual Transformers!

Of course, he can transform into a draconic spaceship. Here it is without the weapons:

Finally, a comparison with the original Jhiaxus and his moldmate, Legacy Vector Prime. (Both modded with repros and upgrade kits.)



It's been a very long time in the making, but I'm happy how my transformable Death Hand turned out.

Really cool mod. The extra wide shoulder pads are a little weird for me, especially since it doesn't match the DH's figure, but it is original I guess.

Fun fact. The shoulderpads were TWICE as large before I chopped them off in half!

Daaaaaaammmmnnnnnn. Gemini is very, very strong when you feed it some pictures. My Death Hand custom went back in time, being "officially" in the 1980's Marvel Comics!

I didn't read the OG comics either, but I binged them online once when I had the time. Bought the compendium.

This was a great idea and carries across the vibe and idea of Death's Head spectacularly well! I love the cape/wing idea, and the dragon/jet mode just fits so well for the character. Definitely saving this. Although I will have to admit that while that the AI image does look pretty cool, but it doesn't look anything like the 80's comic style.

As for the AI image, I noticed that Gemini have basically just "locked" styles. For example, it disregard any specifics and just do ONE "comics" style, ONE "manga" style, and so on.
Eh, it's better than noting for a free app.
