Oo... he's coming along nicely! Love the paintjob; very clean (and good choice on the Inscribe paints; my main range). Although it's a pity you covered up the cockpit. Since you're going for green, you could quite easily go over the original yellow with a green clearcoat (like the Tamiya one) or glass paint.
Are you doing completely new wings, or just reshaping the originals?

yeah, i'll be reshaping the originals, or to b more precise, hacking bits off!

Yarr... though if I recall correctly, this guy's an Autobot, isn't he?

Actually, it's just occurred to me; with the distribution of black and silver, and the reshaped head, he kinda reminds me of Megatron...

It does. Well, I think the green really sets it apart though. Looks cool against the silver.

If you don't work faster, we have to bust out the whip.
Anyhow, we'll be waiting to see how it pans out.

It'd have to be a bloody long whip.

Unless you posted it to me - I could make it reach...

mould? if you mean the original head, then , yes thats what your looking at, just with some of the features filed down.

How'd you file it, as in what tool?
I'd like to cheive that smooth surface.

i just used an average, everday, run of the mill, D.I.Y. file. and as far as how, i took the cockpit section off, and then removed the head. that also allowed me to hack off the air intakes, without damaging the head.

Still blurry image. Really suspenseful.

I wonder what parts of the head were filed down.
