You all remember my custom Barricade, the one that's up on EBay right now right?

Well get ready for this, I added a real STROBING LED lighting system under the roof! The suckers are super-bright and do the quick-flashing in sequance like the real police lights do!



This pic is 'meh' because my camera won't focus in low-light conditions, but you can see the whole car now.


They came in this weird pink "Flashing horn whistle" I picked up from the Dollar tree store. I destroyed the package but I'm gonna run by there tomorrow and buy like 20 more, take some pics on how to install the lightbar. (once I track down another deluxe Barricade somehow...) The LED circut PERFECTLY fits under the lightbar, exactly the right length across to line up with the screw holes that hold the bar on! You just need to dremel them out larger and glue the thing under the roof. Doesn't mess with the transformation and there's even an on/off switch. Batteries can be replaced too. It was like it was made for Barricade. Thank you cheap-chinese-toy-companies!

That is the most awesome custom job I've seen on Barricade yet! (and probably ever)

Nice! So, the whole thing fits into the spot for the lights? There aren't any extraneous battery packs, or anything?

It fits right up under the roof and the LED's poke through the pegholes for the lightbar if you widen them a bit. The batteries extend down just a little bit from the roof, like right where the passenger's head would be. (someone make a stick-on mustache man face to cover them up, lol!) Nothing bumps or sticks because his legs don't fill the whole inside cavity of the car.

And here's what the whistle looks like, at least after being broken and half and destoyed. You can see the package at least.

that looks great! oddly enough I was just last night tossing around the idea of giving Barricade lights, but I lack the skills involved...glad to see someone else thought of it and could actually accomplish it!

Depends on how large your fingers are, lol! I have to depress the switch with a small screwdriver or pop the roof up a bit but anyone with smaller fingers could reach their pinky inside and click it.

The video put me over the edge. I want this toy. If i customize one thing its Barricade.

That's cool, but he made a big mistake. Although I'd prefer it in the movie.
He made it a rgular Ford Mustang GT. Not a Saleen S281.

Nope, the led unit fits underneath the roof and doesn't get in the way of anything. The hands are magnetic so they just pop off.

this is too sweet. I pulled out my DL and insurance card the first time I watched that video.

I never knew it would be so hard to find a crappy little toy with some flashing LED's in it....but its proving to be like searching for duck teeth.

That's cool, now I'll have to find that horn!

i did this mod after seeing it on TFW it was easy and fast except mylocal family dollar is 17 miles away and i didnt want to melt the plastic with super glue so i used clear nail polish and it's held up awesomely so far...... only grip is out of the 2 whistles boths red leds werent that bright =\
