The Energon Pub

Jumping on the movie repaint bandwagon, I decided to pick up one of the Deluxe figs to repaint. I almost wasn't gonna bother with any of the movie figs, but I actually really like this little fella! I'm taking a little creative licence with the colours, but I think he's looking pretty cool so far.
The finished repaint will be going up on the 'Bay...

Yarr. He's an ugly bugger, but there's something about him. Actually, when I was Googling for reference/inspiration pics, I found this sig gif, which makes me love him even more...





I have no idea how much to expect for him, really; but if it turns a half-decent profit, you can bet I'll be doing more...

I've always loved him, despite his uglyness. Looking at him all painted in pretty colours makes me really hate the Hasbro paint job XD

Glad you're liking. I think most people are unloving of the Hasbro paintjobs in general, if we're honest...

Oh, and Wheel_Jack... I'd like to do one for myself, but unfortunately money's way too tight at the mo. I would have had trouble justifying buying this fella if I wasn't gonna sell it straight on...

Indeed so. I don't think most custom sellers are getting quite that lucky, but hell, it's worth a try...

I dont see how anyone could to be honest, no matter how good you are.

Ive seen stuff on there that IMO is alot better, no offense to the original guy who this convo is based around, yet it doesnt even reach half that amount.

Its a bit unreal...
