I would say that this definitely needs to be in the kitbash forums, but, I totally see this being a discussion on how Bumblebee should be in the masterpiece line up and how volkswagon sucks!!!

I love the attention to detail with that piece and especially the arms, they look just like the cartoon, not to mention the attnetion to seats and engines and steering wheel, sheesh takara certainly has its hands full if they ever get down to making the autobot cars, we should expect this level of quality from them.

Someone from Hasbro really needs to talk to Volkswagen, I know they don't want any part in Transformers, but don't tell me they couldn't be sweet talked into making just one exception. Don't take no for an answer I say. Bumblebee's got to be about the most harmless transformer going.

This guy did a totally awesome job here. It really goes to show what's possible. The only thing is it might be interesting to see if he could work the proportions a bit, maybe make the legs a bit longer. Other than that, it's like a childhood dream come true.

I like it alot, the Alt mode is perfect...bot mode though....not so much. Dont get me wrong the arms and legs are great but his chest....it looks stupid and fat. IMO he could have done this differently and it would still have looked really good, but his chest wouldnt have been the roof of the car it would be the rear end. Not G1 accurate in that sense but it would have looked much better.

Thats how im gonna do my alt VW bumblebee when i get the money, not like this though. Hes just laughably fat looking lol.

Awesome custom, at least if we never get to see an official masterpiece Bumblebee, we can see what it might have looked like

I've also seen it before, and am still not liking the bot mode. I've seen kitbashed Classics Bumblebees that are more proportionate than this one.

Holy Crap! Thats the best Bumblebee Kitbash if I ever saw one! This guy should seriously be working for Hasbro and make a Masterpiece range!

OMG that thing looks like it ate 15 minicons! The attention to detail is great.......but that thing is soooo fugly in robot mode. It looks like John Candy wearing yellow robot armor!

That prime looks bad ass though! I wonder how much he would charge for a pair of those hands!

What a great piece of work,a bit too chunky in robot mode perhaps but even so it's very well done.

I'll second that.

It is an amazing piece, but it just comes across as too porky. While there's not a lot you can do about the roof of the beetle, the face just makes him look tubby.

Bumblebee spent his weekends in car mode luring children inside. He offered candy, but little did the children know, they in fact were the candy.

Bumblebee has been eating too many Pies again, but still manages to look good!

Personally, I like it. His "portliness" fits Bumblebee perfectly, and makes him more G1 accurate. As others have stated, the VW bug is not going to give you a slim bot mode, especially if you use the proper G1 transformation.
