Cartoon Accurate G1 Red Alert!

OK, this is my first attempt at kitbashing or modifying of any sort on a Transformer, and anyways, I got my mitts on a G1 Red alert, didn't like the look of the black head, so I got my toolkit out and swapped heads with him and G2 Sideswipe, and here's the results:

Proof in the pudding that sometimes it's only the simple changes that markedly improve a figure.
I'm stuck with my red head for Red Alert, no Sideswipe to switch head with!

You'd be suprised how much improvements can be done to Red Alert, Sideswipe, and G2 Sideswipe just with a few parts swap.

I bet I would.
I'd be even more surprised if it didnt cost me an arm and a leg to get those other 2 figures though!
