It's metalic paint is to die for, but they really should use a more acurate sword.

The sword is so much better than the movie version. The metallic brings it out a ton.

heh, if your voyager is gonna look like that.. shouldn't you know how to make simple flames?

What is simple to one may be extremely complicated to another and vice versa. Since the flames aren't a part of my repainting process and go on very last it has nothing to do with my ability to make the blue red and gold/yellow of the body look as good, or better, as this does.

Now instead of acting like a sarcastic twit, why not offer an answer if you have the knowledge?

Dont forget me and you are part of the "enamels own acrylics" brotherhood so we need to stick together. :P

flames are simple. there are 2 ways to make them.

1) vinyl stencil. (my preference)

2) hand paint them.

Vinyl stencil, obvious choice and a good thing to use but i dont have one and cant afford to buy one nor do i even know where to get one.

I had considered hand painting them on but it will look rough as the human hand shakes too much and unless you are a pro pinestripe artist they will look like ass.

I was thinking of using masking tape. I will draw the flame shape out on the roll of tape, tear it off and stick it to the figure than carefully using a scalpel i will cut out the shape then paint. Same principal as a stencil, minus the cost. But i am also weary of the quality of the end result using the method so im just trying to find as many methods of doing as possible.
