So..Some know me, or knew me..Some do not. Anyways, dropping what was and now starting something new..I figured I'd start showing off what I've been doing since my departure over at the other place. This is some commissioned work I did for IOIIOOO on said other site, and I kinda like it..A lot. Actually I want to keep it, but, alas, I cannot.

So, a bit about these two figures..

The 20th Anniversary DVD Prime got new smokestacks, and a new paint job. Using Krylon Hammered Finish paint, as well as this little yellow bottle of this chrome paint stuff found at Walmart--Which looks really great in person..As well as some red Sharpie marker love to tint the windows and Matrix..We now have MP Nemesis Prime! I took one of his Flickr pics of the Custom Starscream he had, and found this other one, printed up some new stickers to go on his arm communicators and they look really cool like that. He's fully transformable, painted through and through. I don't like the teal paint I use anymore..It finishes almost latex like..A funky acrylic, that's just regular testors paint..But it just doesn't lay down smooth enough. And one last surprise gimic, this Nem Prime now has a nice new shiney red crystaled Matrix!! We made a Youtube Video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBGdKPwyoUE to kinda show it off a bit more..Feel free to comment and critique and what not.

He originally commissioned me for a Classics Prime done the same way, and liked the hammered finish, so, he then asked for a Revoltech Prime done in the same fashion. A few more Repro stickers, and he was done as well..

If these pics come out to large, I'll scale them done some.

Nice to see you around Seibertron! I always loved the look of your customs (Thundercracker & Classics Nemesis specifically), and didn't know if we'd be seeing any more of them, but now that I see you're around, I won't have anything to fear from not seeing new work from 'Us and Them'... That "MP" Nemesis Prime is definitely a piece of work!

Keep up the wonderful work, and if you haven't shown them your Prime collection here yet... Show it off! *jealous*

Here are the other Classics Nemesis Prime and Revoltech, not using the Hammered black finish on the one, so you can see the difference.

And yeah..I'll be around..And I'd love to post up my collection stuff again..Where do you do that on here though? Is there a forum for it specifically?

I'd wager that the "toys" forum would suffice, as there isn't any specific forum for "collection" photos...

i dig, being a fan of prime into scourge/nemi repaints..
but i think you should have painted the legs on your mp prime repaint.
other than that.. i'm glad to see that you dyed the plastic for the red windows. what did you use and how long did you dye it for?

I've started my next 2 pieces. Leader Megs, I don't want to make him al ldry brush like everyone else is doing..So far, base coated him in this hammered silver finish. Next I'll goin with some detailing, blacks, golds, maybe some blue wash..We'll see. I want to rough him up some. Also, I've got a Thundercracker/Skywarp repaint going on. The paint took to him beautifully on first coat, so now I'm just letting him dry for a week or so to reduce chipping. They're all ready to go back together--I've even started putting Megs back..But I'll be patient and let them sit a few more days.

These. Are. Awsome.

Really, they are some of the best KB I have ever seen!

BTW, whatdo you mean 'take commisions'?

It means that she will do all the hard work of repainting or kitbashing of Transformers figures in return for monetary compensation.

While I'm not in the market for it at the moment, what would the (ballpark) cost of getting a Skywarp or Starscream repainted into Thundercracker? Do you have any rough idea as to what you might charge for various projects?

I can't wait to see what your Thunder/warp looks like U&T, as expectations are rather high (as everything else has been pretty high quality so far!)... Keep up the good work!

Thanks..Generally speaking, the charge rate is Classics, and movie figures, deluxe size go for about 50$--that inculdes shipping costs (if in US--A bit more if foreign) Alts and Voyager class sizes go for about 65-75$ and Leader and MP sizes go for about 100$

Man..how dod you get hold of so many spare parts? Must cost a small fortune to buy all these rare figs and then take em apart.

Anyway i love the thundercracker, i need to do one of those for myself one day.
