I just got done finishing Nemesis and letting the paint dry. I used Testors model master arcrylc clear red and the windows have that tint red look to make him evil. Finished pic will be posted when I get home from work. Yey

Outstanding! This makes me want to hunt down another Classics Prime so that I can do the same.
Any tricky bits to watch out for?
Also, you mention the paint used to turn the windows red, but what did you use for the teal?
Thanks and again, excellent work!

I used the actual teal color but poured a lil bit in a small dixie plastic cup and poured lil bit of gloss white in, mixed em together and BAM.
And note: Fine Scourge, Nemesis Prime. WHATEVA. Scourge Prime, better? =P

That's really cool..I like how you kept the design/stripes on yours..I've done a bunch of them, and while I've thought about it, I've never been able to do that. These are what my versions have looked like..
This is a flat black and teal

And this is the hammered finish as well as a glossy black

And then the kind of productions line versions..

What did you use to make the stripes? Did you just tape it off and spray? I can never find a good teal spray either.

I like yours aswell. Very different approach and what not. And it's all hand painted. Nothing was taped off.
Mine is semi gloss black. For the teal I just mixed some teal and white to get the right shade.

I was using the Testors teal, but that stuff turns to rubber like really quick, and destroys whatever brush you use..I'm not trying this fabric mettalic teal, looks really cool, but again, doesn't spread to smoothly.
