Just two pics for now i dont want to reveal too much , what i wil tell u is that he is perfectly transformable , and those hand attachements work as good as his original arms , which are still needed to be swapped out with these in order for transformation to a camaro ......... i also have used a gloss finish on the paint so it adds to his pale yellow mold color he came in , check back soon =)

Wow, great job. I wanted to switch the heads, but didn't want to risk either of my 08 BB's.

do RRs use the same ball and joint sockets as 09BB?

NO THE BALL IS DIFFERENT RR have much biger ones , but that isnt a problem , i took my dremel tool , cut the ball of the chest of RR bee and drilled a hole in it , its rubber it expands a little and then u can superglue it right on top of the ball on the Deluxe bee's it shud wear on top of it like a complete cover , let it dry and pop the RR head on it and u r done.

the arm sockets are a little tricky i had a cliffjumper classic i was keeping it for spare parts , and his shoulder joints were perfect to attach whole RR bee's arms , but you have to cut out a lot of rubber form the arms of the RR bee then trim the shoulder joints to epoxy glue in them nicely so they dont look odd , but with epoxy glue for rubber once they r attached u cannot seperate the arm with the shoulder join , and they fit perfectly on the deluxe bees should balls . complete articulation.

and they come off easy too , so when u need to turn it back into camaro take the head off and the arms and place the original arms in place and voila camaro mode =)

when you transform him, do you have to switch the arms back?? :???:

yes u install the original arms back because they form the car top ...... but its not really a problem cause they switch pretty easily , it wud be a problem for someone who switched to car mode to robot mode atleast 15 - 20 times a day , lol

You have to realize most customs are more collectors additions and not for regular toy use , i usually keep my toys in robot mode , and hardly transform them once a week , i just dont play with them all the time i am 30 yrs old =P ..... my customs are made from collectors point of view , and not rugged use , also there is no customizer here who can guarantee you that the paint will stay the same while u transform the crap out of a customized paint job ..... i have 2 bumble bees and 2 of each transformer in my collection , i keep one in alt mode and one in robot mode that way i dont wear the joints or just overall age the toy too fast ........

for An_De , the top comes from the hands which fold behind him making the top roof of the car , when they are put back on , so this Bee has 2 sets of Hands one for robot mode and one pair for car mode =P i hope that makes sense.

compare and see pics below from hsi original look and hands to the new customized ones .
