I was able to pick up a broken leader megatron from one of my friends for ten bucks so I figured I'd give him a new paint job. It's only my second repaint, but I'm pleased to put him on my shelf now. I figured I'd share since I've been lurking here for awhile.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Megatron was already in pieces when I got him. I put him back together and didn't care for his colors so I broke him back down and started painting.

impressive! so you base-coated it with black, what did you do for the shiny metal, airbrush or drybrush? 8)

It was just basic drybrushing for the silver, then I added the gold highlights after.

I've seen many variants of repainting movie Megs, but this one is more impressive than others!
