The Energon Pub

I've been working on this little guy all day, and I thought I'd show everybody what I've got so far. He's built on the 4.5 inch Colossus from the Marvel Legends Showdown "Colossus vs. Magneto" 2 pack. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with Magneto, but it turns out that his cape is a perfect fit.

While i'm not a huge death's head fan...

thats some great work man. Colossus was a great choice to start the build with. is the head a total custom or does it have a base too(other than the horns which i can see aren't custom)?

Thank you Kjeevah and Kalon, but I can't take full credit for picking Colossus. I recalled seeing someone use one for a "Homemade heros" entry in toyfare a few years back. I just used the little one.
About the head: Everything that you see was built up by me on top of Colossus' own noggin. The horns and tusks are made from plastic rods and the horns' bases are made from plastic tubes that I cut off into Os. Both of which I got from PEARL. The horns are sitting in holes that I drilled into the skull so they're nice and sturdy. The knuckle spikes are done the same way.
The structure is all "Quick Wood" epoxy resin. That came from Home Depot. I reccomend it highly. It's sturdy, easy to work with and has a hilarious name.

I'm about 24 hours into Death's Head here and I've got a rough paint job on his upper body, and his weapons pack is well under way.




I'm still not sure about what I'm doing for DH's skirty, coat-bottom thing. It has to wrap around his legs, but I don't want it to limit his mobility.
