Jazz Hands V2 - Update

I finaly got around to making new Jazz hands from the original mock-up that I posted a while back.
Image
The original was made with Bamboo skewers :?, Super Sculpey, and super glue. This time I used aluminum tubes, and PC-11 epoxy(I still haven't ordered any Apoxy sculpt).

That's not all I did to Jazz, as you can see I detailed the inside of the claws. I removed the car doors from robot mode and glued the seam in the center of his legs. The car doors just snap on, and stay on for alt mode W/O the screws! I also dry brushed his face/mouth area silver to be more movie accurate. I can post alt mode pics, but he doesn't look any different. I think up next I'm gonna repaint my '08 BB.

I took a picture of Jazz with his weapon and showing removing the door s in 'bot mode gives a sh*t load more articulation and playability to Jazz.

Not much new with his alt mode. I painted the door mirriors silver. I really took this to show everyone the hands when not in use. Are idle robot hands still the devil's playgound? :-?

I would like to make a set that looks nice and can transform with him. Yours looks really good, though. The inside of the Doc Oc hands look super cool.

I'm really glad you did this.

It looks very cool, esp the paint, but the claws look a little large for my tastes.

I'm still trying to figure out if there is a way to do this and still have the hands transform. I dunno, maybe it's not possible.

Yours looks very cool though!

That's good lookin' hands there. I like how they blend, but are they removable...because t doesn't look like it...

are these doc ock hands? amazing, you even managed to paint the minute details inside, like wiring and hydraulics. i'm interested to see where the claws fit in in alt mode. :)

Nice. removing the doors alone makes the figure look so much better.

Unfortunatly he becomes somewhat of a partsformer. I think anything is better than those little black claws that Hasbro obviosly saw as a good idea :?

Yay, cars.
No, really, although the detail of the toy isn't fit for your claws.

Yeah, I was saying the claws were much beeter than the plastic hunk (don't take that the wrong way) named Jazz.
