UPDATED 11/01/07 at end of thread

so it went like this.

Perceptor: WHEEL_JACK, Ultra Magnus sent orders to drink beer and make me more poseable.

Wheel_jack: alright, pour me a beer in a receptor perceptor.

Perceptor: forgive me wheel_jack, don't you mean receptacle.

wheel_jack gives perceptor an impatient look.

Perceptor: hehem, yes I believe I can. there's a "receptor" in my vicinity.

wheel_jack gives perceptor an impatient look.

Later...

Perceptor: Wheel_jack, A cursory evaluation of your kitbashing capabilities indicates a distinct tactical deficiency.

Wheel_jack: in other words Perceptor?

Springer: we're out of beer.

Arcee: did you have to drink four quarters of this case of beer.

Wheel_jack: Seein' as how I was gonna drink *five* quarters I think we made a ....good......choice. :-?

the end

OK so that was a fun night...tonight...was.... here's perceptor in all his posing glory. major work is complete. minor work has just begun. other work will be worked on.

here's my parts needed list. if you have one or more of the following items. please PM me and we can talk about price.
a) One shoulder plate
b) Two Circle Knobs (that go on his forearms)
c) both guns (I don't care about the missiles)

Ok, that does it. Thanks for looking fellas.
cheers

Holy crap man! That is awesome. My favorite kind of kitbash is making a brickbot super-poseable. Perceptor was better than a lot of guys, but you've given him the help he needed. I have a bootleg Perceptor that has the nobs and the guns with missiles. If you want to work something out just shot me a message!

Awesome stuff. I can't fasthom ruining a G1 (as in bashing it, although you only improved on it) it's cool to see someone brave enough.
And, the parts, do want them in any speciic condition?

Thanks Devastator. Your Devastator was part of my inspiration for shaping this g1 perceptor. Plus like you said perceptor was one of the better ones. They were teasing us with him, really. I was looking on ebay for a bootleg fella but didn't come up with any listings. so yeah, I'll send you a PM. thanks again.

Hey thanks Sherade. my perceptor was in questionable condition to begin with. I did get a little panicky when I took the hacksaw to his diecast parts. as far as condition of the guns and knobs and stuff, I don't care about color or fading. I'll repaint them. but if they're chewed up - if you were one of those kids, I'll pass. :)
cheers.

That's fantastic work! It just goes to show that with a modicum of effort and dash of modern toy technology, a classic G1 fig can be just as playable as a new one!
