I'm sure they look awesome like the rest of your Seekers, but the pictures aren't coming up.

In answer directly wo what I'd like to see...

This is something that has bugged the ever living hell out of me lately. Ever since I noticed it on the Botcon exclusive Dirge when compared to G1 Dirge.

First link is G1, second is Botcon exclusive. The wings. Its really been grinding my thoughts because back in the day, only the four original screamers were straight up repaints of each other. The coneheads were are all different, even from one another.

Seeing as how you modded these guys to be coneheads, I'm going under the idea that you're not afraid of kitbashing:

I'd like your Dirge to have different wings than your Ramjet, not just different heads & paint jobs.

BTW, I hope I didn't come across as rude or anything. I really didn't mean to offend if I did.

didnt come off a rude. but im really not going any further on these. the head is enough for me. i did a little more to thrust but even he will not be enough to satisfy your passion for the coneheads. :(

Doesn't really work for me, if I'm honest. The repaint work's brilliant, as ever, but the conehead mod just looks awkward to my eye - I think they'd look far better just as the standard Seeker format.

But then I never liked the coneheads in the first place. It was only the cartoon that gave them the look in the first place; the toys were never designed that way, and when people started positioning the noses on the toys up 'to look like the cartoon', well... frankly it just looked stupid.

Admittedly, on these versions it looks somewhat less forced, but I still think they would have been better left as they were.

Well my main problem is the head isnt molded into the fuselage of the nose section is it? It is just re-positioned behind the head which just looks forced to me, not a real cone head. I dont really know how to explain it.

The paint is all fine and dandy i just dont really dig the cone head design you have used.

As with your other repaints, the paint scheme is awesome. Like some of the others have said, I'm just not feeling the conehead with the cockpit mounted behind them.

Kudos for the effort thought. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

this is funny if i wouldn't have even tried to make these coneheads people would have been up in arms saying what the hell wheres the conehead. as for the wings well i actually tried some different things and they all looked really ugly with the f-22's body lines. Its a jet that really needs those wings to look good. maybe someone else a little better at the kitbashing can come up with something better. i have to clean house but i will get the res of the shots of them up later today.

regards
mark

Back in the G1 Days? They are all the same..... Dirge and Ramjet just had different weapons and wings. Thrust had the same weapons but different wings as well.

I like what you did! :-P

Liking Dirge, the white looks very good on the Screamer mold.

Hasbro must be loving you, buying all these Voyager figures!
