i like Jins work even before he did TF, but you don't really need to be comparing him with other guys work. to each is own.

Now THAT is one good bit of Kitbashing! And although the head really doesnt scream "Prowl" to me it certainly looks hot!

Now THIS is something G1-inspired that deserves good attention!

say what you wanna say but Jins work is pretty darn good his guide to painting transformers is what inspired me to paint my seekers. they may not be the best thing since sliced bread but i like them. oh and i used kiddie paints on them so i guess im a kiddie. for some reason i didnt think to use automotive paint on my plastic kiddie toy. these forums make me laugh sometimes.

Sonray & frenzy_rumble I and the rest of the staff have had enough of your constant bickering.
You have been told to stop before and you two just seem to keep at it.

AND you completely ignored a staff members warning

The Jazz does look good but I wouldnt associate a solstice with a cop car. Real world I have seen Camaro's and Mustangs as Highway Patrol, not little roadsters.

Seriously? I see last gen Camaros as CHP cars all the time, but the only time I've seen a Mustang black and white is in the TF Movie.

Personally, I'm not big on this Prowl. Only because I've always hated the arms of Jazz, and the whole thing just seems too clunky to come from something like a Solstice. It's supposed to be sleek and smooth, not big and blocky. It's a great custom, don't get me wrong, but it just one that's not for me.

Yeah mostly fox bodies, I've seen some cop showcars of the 4th generation stang. I may have seen a 5th gen one but I'm not sure.

Unless I've overlooked one over the last few months, I'm surprised nobody's tried to make a Prowl custom out of Barricade (you know, since it's already a police car and all).

How would Jin's be any different?

I dont think Jin would be able to make it look better if he did one. I dont know why everyone thinks he is the be all end all of custom painters, especially when he only uses acrylic (kiddie paints) paint applied by brush all the time.

There are much better customizers out there, people who use REAL paints and complex painting techniques and airbrushes.
I hate it when they get pushed aside into the shadows because everyone gives Jin the lime light all the time for whatever reason.

See, *sniff* Sonray hates me.

But yeah, don't compare other people's stuff to my work. I'm just the start, the inspiration people sometime use to create their own works of art. I don't want my work to be compared against anything because it's not made to be. My gallery and such is for inspiration so people can take from it and alter how they need.

So no need for apologies, everyone for a group hug ok?

It's okay Jin, no need to  . Your still favorite in my book. Any way since I have all of you good kitbashers on one conveniant forum I need to tell you something. I was so inpressed by all of the excellent customs on this forum that I went and repainted my voyager ratchet  . So in the end I now have it dissasembled, repainted with crap(craft store paint. First does anyone know how to get this junk paint off and second I wanna make it a decepticon(it has the claws) but I dont know which one. Jin, any help. :)
