Ok, next here is Thrust to Dirge, trying to match the Classics colors as best I can, as well as doing yet another repaint of Skywarp/Thundercracker here--This time going with a much darker blue that I've tried before--again trying to match colors as best I can. Should be done by weeks end. I painted Thundercrackers chest with that awesome chrome finish paint, but it takes a longgggggggggg time to dry so that you can handle it without smudging the reflective chrome look.

You mean Ramjet to Dirge, right? Much as I love Dirge, killing a Thrust for him would be a crime.

Me too, I was thinking "Oh noooooo, do they realize what they've done"?

Thank goodness, my heart is slowing back down to a normal BPM now.

Great work!

Wow that looks good, love the paint you put on, dosn't really look like paint, more like it's cast that way.
But dudet, that chrome paint realy is awesome!

Yeah, that paint is nice, you can get a really nice reflection on it..But again, just takes awhile to dry.

I just had a really stoopid idea, even for me.

I was gonna suggest putting him in the microwave to drive him off... :HEADHURTS:

Well, I'm off to get shot. Because that's what this calibre of stoopid earns me. :-?

I wanna make a TC for myself so i can have the three main seekers. Did you have any problems with the paint rubbing on the leg sections where they slide into each other?

No, no problems with paint..I don't recommend transforming them to often, but they've each gone through my usual process of finishing--Each layer of paint gets a week to dry/bond and then I transform them into each mode, first alt then robot, and do touch up paint. I generally ship in bot mode, and do my figures with the intention of them being in bot mode for disaply too...

Well, time for another update--the Seekers are done!
Here are some pics with their over priced counterparts..

So, I finally tried doing Thundercracker as a darker blue then what I've previously used..But since they botcon figures are actually two different tones of blue, I went that way too..I'd like to have found a shade lighter of blue, but, this is what Krylon has. And for the first time I've tried adding the sticker/decals on it..Granted, the botcon ones are patined, but, this time I've tried using very thin electrical tape for the detail..And it kinda works I think. With time and practice, hopefully it gets better..More accurate etc.

Not time to finish painting Alt Steeljaw..

It can be fun, yep. Look into it--It can't hurt. There is lots of help online on all these sites about kitbashing and how to start.

Honestly i couldnt tell the difference in the first couple of pics. I havnt really studied the botcon exclusives enough to know what colors they are etc. So you had me fooled! Awesome work and i simply cant wait to start working on my TC now!

I just wish they sold that krylon fusion stuff over here, it sounds sweet. Oh well, guess i'll have to stick to my automotive paint.

I never wanted to bother with the cone head seekers before now either, but i think you have just convinced me to go ahead with thrust and dirge too. Have you ever made the wing mods to thrust? If so what did you use for parts?
