It's relatively quick and easy, and cost less than an Alt Wheeljack on eBay.

Jazzz, if you can't find a real Wheeljack, these KOs are actually pretty good quality.
http://www.agesthreeandup.com sells them for pretty cheap.

Nice! I was thinking about doing the exact same thing -- glad to see that it's possible for it to look good.
What part swap did you do with Grimlock? Will the straight-up KO not work?
Thanks again everyone. To answer your question, the part swap I did was switching out the blue hip and feet parts for the red ones on a KO Grimlock. I did this simply because I didn't want to paint anything - my painting skills aren't that great and I wanted this custom to be quick and easy.
Jazzz: Unfortunately you can tell the difference because the real Alt Wheeljack doesn't have chrome on the head, the KO doesn't have proper Autobot symbols (hence the stickers I added), and the paint application on the KO is kind of sloppy. Took me a good 5 minutes to find one that looked acceptable, and it's still got a couple bad spots.
Wheel_Jack: Thanks! It's hard to tell from the pictures I've got right now, but I actually added some stickers from the G1 Wheeljack set, specifically the "Alitalla" ones along with the two yellow ones on the hood. It does lend more of a rally feel to it, I'm quite satisfied.
