Tell me, what paint do you use, as in brand. I know it's enamel.
Looks really clean line wise and all, but the paint looks gritty. It it just the camera, or because it's not done yet?
Oh..classic question..bot pics?

those are sprays, the paint isn't gritty, those shots: i took just now...cause you asked for them

the paint job on the exterior is blemish/grit free. krylon fusion.
real pics and bot mode tomorrow night. he should be done.

What I was hoping for was more of that chrome Jazz.
Well, on the paint, it was the blue, it looked bumpy because of the shine. The bot symbol is just a sticker, right?
And it had to be Krylon...which I can't find anywhere 'round here.

San Diego is=across the US. Seriously, Maryland to San Diego?
I'll stick to my Testors.
Which, except for red, serve me well.
another annoying question..did you recolor the light piping?

You've done a fine job there. I'm looking forward to seeing the robot mode and that new head you mentioned. are you thinking about doing his "brothers" with this mold too?

That looks great. Have you or do you plan on doing something with the hands like using a Jazz replica?

The paint doesnt look very smooth to me, a car should have a super smooth and shiny finish, but maybe you'll fix that since this is a WIP.
The color scheme works well with the mold i quite like it, again its a shame i was never offered to work on this project it would have been fun.

I know Walmart carries Kyrlon Fusion in every place I've ever been. Home Depot usually has a small supply as well. Its hard to believe Baltimore doesn't have some place that carries it.

(Just in case it needs clarifying, I live in the much less hazardous Baltimore County)
Most Wal-Marts in range of me carry only testors. There are very few hobby shops, and I'm not a very serious kitbasher so I don't want to go very far.

Define that movie....was it called Sum of All Evils? Or do you just mean that it was bad?
And i hope you mean County, because if you love the city...you've obviously never been there at night...

Never heard of the movie, but for all I care nuke Camden Yards.
It's not like we'll miss the Orioles.
