I only do customs and kitbashes to make figs better, not to make new stuff, so don't bash the creativity guys. My only previous experience is in SW kitbashing.

I wanted a more display-worthy Megatron, so I mooched some ideas of other great Megs customs. I know he doesn't transform anymore, but I've only ever tried his transformation once and was unpleased with it. I just want bot mode displays anyhow.

Changes
I removed the arm cannon things, secured the right hand to the arm, removed the awkward battery pack thing from his butt, and superglued his pelvis to his torso. I taped over the black and gold areas and the light pipe in the head and sprayed him with Rustoleum Metallic silver. Added highlights with black and gold Testors acryillic paint markers.

Here's my finished Movie Leader Megatron. I made not other physical changes him than before. I just blinged him up with some gold highlights and trim, and re-blackened some areas. Still needs a little touching up, but he's more or less completed. I know, he's not movie accurate, but he's a hell of a lot closer than he was right out of the box!
