Hey thanks !
Hope the inspiration leads to you trying your hand at this or something similar....TF customizing isn't limited to repainting movie figures....

I wonder how a transformer would become a zombie? Bitten by a toaster of the undead?
It totaly works you don't rember that episode where daniel (or spike what ever his name is) goes to that tomb and swears he sees Optimus. He was kind of like a zombie
Hehe - Thanks dude ! -

Sonray wrote:I gotta be honest with ya...ive been watching you do this for a while and i gotta say i dont like the idea of taking these toys, especially alts, and doing this kinda thing to them. It just seems like such a waste...that said i can appreciate the skill and craftsmanship that has gone into this, and the detail is really good.
The zombie thing doesnt work for me either but nevermind.
Heres a suggestion though: Why dont you make a dead Prime on a table? Like in the '86 movie? Now that would be something worthy of beating up a perfectly good toy for.
Hmmm... a fellow customizer telling another fellow customizer - it's a waste....

...a little discouraging to say the least.
I don't expect everyone to like it but a fellow customizer saying it's a waste ?...as I've said before:
It's not "ruining/wrecking/wasting"...it's
customizing...

- You're a very talented customizer, if anyone, you should know that.
I mean....OK....I own an Alt. Mirage mint loose, I own an Alt. Mirage MISB...I found one for VERY cheap missing a door with the stripes horribly scratched(not likely to find a better candidate than that), its not like I took an AFA'd one and opened it and started pullin' pieces off, come on bro, look at the big picture...
If I repainted one would that be a waste ?
of course not - what's the difference ? - nothing, it's
customizing right ?
Taking a factory toy and making it into something else.
I didn't sign up here to brag but just so you know, most of the ones I make get sold on eBay.
This one in particular sold for $160.49 U.S. - That's aprox
double the MISB price. I hardly call that a waste...

...especially considering what condition the figure was to start with.
As for scratch building a door...what do you charge for that ? cause thats gotta be a lot of time & money , no ? - just for a door anyway.
As for the suggestion about the '86 dead Prime, if I've seen it done more than once I don't do it, good suggestion none the less.
Anyhoo, no harm done here bro just letting you know the method behind the madness, hope it makes a little more sense now. -
