Transformers: Fusion... Can you tell who it is yet?

I've got loads of half-finished customs in the works, and sooner or later I will finish them (promise!). But I've finally come up with some kind of backstory to them all - Transformers: Fusion (working title) is going to consist of G1-based characters and story, but based around later toys - Armada, Energon, Cybertron and the like (I just can't connect with the A/E/C characters, so this is my way of getting the most out of the toys).
The latest addition to the cast is this lad here, who's a slight mod on Energon Demolishor (the fact that the fella next to him has already been posted on the boards should make it all the easier...). Any takers?

It looks pretty cool! Are you planning on making the Constructicon gestalt that we all wanted to see in the Energon line as opposed to what we got??

DF and Dev were right on the money - they're Scrapper and Long Haul. No sign of a new Constructicon gestalt, though - as far as I know these are going to be the only Constructicons in the line-up (due probably to the deaths of the other four... but I haven't decided for sure yet).
The only proper gestalt that's definitely going to show up in the line is Bruticus (at least once I can get hold of a Bonecrusher or another Sledge).

With what I have so far, the story will begin with ten Autobots and thirteen Decepticons (some of which have already been seen here), with another nine Decepticons joining later, followed by another six (for now) Autobots. And the Decepticon numbers advantage is very deliberate - designed to offer a Beast Machines-esque sense of hopelessness...

Anyway, I was just going to say that this fusion line that you've come up with interests me immensely. Tell me more!

Certainly is. As is the fella whose feet can be seen in the top right corner, and the lad on the left hand side (although he's down for 'Wave II').

As for the story, DF, it's still in the early stages. Basic premise, though:

Set maybe a couple of hundred years after G1. The war has continued to run, and again, Cybertron has hit a drastic energy crisis, with both sides rapidly losing warriors to 'starvation'. Just in time, however, Scrapper and Long Haul manage to devise a renewable energy source - highly efficient, it renders the user much more powerful (think Nucleon), and it self-replicates, so as long as it is not all used up, stocks continue to replenish themselves.
The Decepticons have a serious advantage now, and are able to reduce the Autobots' ranks even further. The crisis for the Autobots reaches a new peak when Optimus Prime is taken out, and the Creation Matrix is captured.

Now with no Prime, no Matrix, and almost no energy, the Autobots are reduced to surviving on what scraps of power they can find. Jazz takes over as acting commander.
Finally some hope arrives as Wheeljack and Ratchet develop a means of stretching their energon by using it more efficiently. The new process allows two Autobots to combine into a single gestalt entity, which uses considerably less power than the two would burn as individuals. An unexpected side-effect allows the partcipants to share knowledge, skills, and even powers.
They now need to get back the Matrix, as well as a sample of the Decepticons' new super-fuel...
