Hi, I'm new here... And I noticed this place had a distinctive lack of Beast Wars kitbashes, so I decided to try my own. I've never been happy with turtle transformers over the years, so I decided to start there.















And a couple of comparison pics with Snapper.






This is also my first *real* kitbash. Up until now, I've only done repaints and minor modifications. Hope you guys enjoy.

looks pretty sweet. Did you use pieces off the fuzor verzion (terragator I think)or sculpt all the horns on the shell?

I managed to get the top horns from on of Terragator's hands, but I goofed on the other and had to sculpt them. I wound up puttying around the top ones anyway to make sure they stayed on. Plus I put alot of putty inside the shell to give it a more 'full' look, instead of having that one piece awkwardly hanging out up top. Check it out on this WIP pic.

ha! from the angle of the first pic I thought that was how you were attaching the beast head by a peg or something.

Nahh. That was the original intention, but I didn't wanna put the head out that far. So I took a piece of Snapper's gun to make the handle instead. In the 5th pic, you can barely see the handle between 2 of the shell spikes.

I really should fill up that hole, but I'm lazy.

Dang, that is cool! I'm glad to see an original Beast Wars custom! It was in rare form even back in the day!
