This is it guys! I have been working (off an on, obviously, as you guys have seen more projects than this one from me in the last year) on this project for the last year. I finished Screamer Monday, April 10th. I had been showing this single image to just a handful of people I IM and I was going to wait and post a thread when I shot a full gallery of all of them. However, I have been sick since Tues 11th and I forgot to take the image down. I guess now is as good of a time as any to unveil my work. So 1 year and a few too many TF Scoobies later, here they are, the Alternators Seekers!

I really like that screamer. So how many are from Silverstreak and how many are from Smokescreen, and are any from Ricochet? I can see they all have the Streak/Ricochet head.

The heads are all from Silverstreak. I don't know about the area where you guys are at, but here, Smokes and Streak were cluttering the shelves and became quite cheap in the clearance isle (when Walmart knocks an Alt Streak down to $9 something's up). Kaybee at one point had a sale buy one ($12.99) and get one half off. My mother-in-law bought me a ton. If if says anything, should I choose to make the other background guys from MtMtE, I'll still have enough Scoobies.

In terms of the actual breakdown:

Dirge:
Screen: front, spoiler, and legs
Streak: rest

Ramjet:
Streak: whole bot

Thrust:
Streak: whole bot

Sunstorm:
Screen: front end, arms
Streak: rest

Roadwarp:
Screen: whole bot, except . . .
Streak: roof

T-cracker:
Screen: whole bot

Screamer:
Screen: front end
Streak: rest of bot
custom spoiler

Ricochet I've only seen twice (one of which is in my collection). Part of the basis of this project goes with my philosophy of art: sometimes your canvas is what you have to work with. Here the early Imprezas were plentiful and cheap :P

Ah, this is the fun one:

The arm cannons are scratchbuilt by yours truly. If you've ever gotten a liquid soap dispenser, there is a tab on the neck of the dispenser nozzle. I used that and some old mechanical pencils for the arm cannons. I also used the tabs that the twist-ties wrap around from TF toys for the vents (I just cut them into the shape I wanted). I also used a common nail for the mount (which fits perfectly in the holes on each arm to mount the engine in car mode. I then photo referenced the G1 seekers toys and painted them accordingly.

Here is a pic of them, enjoy:

its really impressive that you did each gun on its own. I figured you had made one and then mold/cast it.

Wow, thanks again you guys for the great feedback! With me, I really had a blast making these guys, and for me that IS what it's all about! That and now I have some cool new Alts!!!

I made slideshows in my PB account, and I've been thinking..

Enjoy!

Also, I've been toying around with the idea as of late to make another couple of these Seekers from some of the background characters. I'm not pioneering new territory here (check our galleries here), but I've just got some Subarus still lying around.

However, I've got a TON of other projects ahead, and my free time seems to be less and less. :(

Incredible, simply and truthfully incredible.

I can't say otherwise then that I love what you've done to these bots and
that I hope to see what you'll do to the unnamed seekers
(such as the green ones from more then meets the eye/etc.).

Erh, it'd be fair to say that you'd get a d*mn good
price for them should you ever sell them.
Fat chance for that though, right?

My favs: Roadwarp&Thrust.
