Not much of a repaint, I know, but I decided to try the paint job of War Within Starscream on a spare Legends of Cybertron Starscream - but the only place around here that ever got the LoC's was the local Anime shop, and they only got one shipment of wave 1 and one of wave 2. Well, the other day, they suddenly got two wave 1 shipments in again, and I was just in time to pick up the last Starscream they had.

I primed it with Krylon Fusion satin finish white, then mixed up a light wash of a medium grey to settle in the crack details. I then painted on the blue of the forearms, and the red and gold detailing. I even broke out the TINY brushes, and painted his eyes red. Then I went back with lighter shades of the blue and red as a drybrush to pick out details (though I think I went with TOO light a shade of the blue).

End result (forgive my crappy camera, only a couple of the pics came out decent):

Dude, I'm a rank beginner. Repainting is about as far as I can go right now.

Besides, about the only additional articulation LOC Screamer REALLY needs is elbows that bend forwards, and I have neither the equipment nor the skills to do so, especially on THAT scale.

It is definately a nice repaint. The one thing I would have changed is the tail section. I would have replaced the tail with a new, single tail that folded back just like WWI Starscream?s. If you want, make a second SS and try this modification.
