What Dev meant was that you should send him pictures and a character description and he'll knock up a gallery here at transtopia for you.
Or at least I'm pretty sure that's what he meant

Ha ha, well, she goes behind the cockpit inside the midrif. I have to take the tail, and rotor off to fit her there, and stick them somewhere. Otherwise, I could have made her into a butt bot like the original Sixwing, but I'm not a real fan of that.

Quite possibly one of the best configurations I've seen. Considering they're mostly a combiner group already, it's cool to see them combined TOTALLY different from how they were meant to be. (ie: different central body, plus the extra Minicon toys as feet, etc)

Thanks very much! The Minicon shuttle feet are actually from the bootleg WST Superion sets. They were completely useless to the set otherwise, and didn't combine in any way. I made a use for them in this way. The real shuttle minicons would have been too big aesthetically for the feet of Hexwing. This shrunken version was perfect.

Cool. Didn't know that--I thought those were just normal Minicons.

Wow... this is a really original one. I love it! Does the main jet (the Storm Jet bash) not have an individual robot mode?

No, when I first conceived of this project, I thought of it as "Micromaster Combiner's 2.0" with a little more posability. The original micromaster combiners didn't have a main body that could tranform into an original robot, just a jet. Someone else here (I believe in the Best Kitbash section) remarked that since Hexwing is also a Headmaster, its perfectly fine for the main body to not have a separate robot mode, as the original Headmaster's didn't funtion as robots without their heads usually.
I've been intending to put a full bio up, but I'm waiting on artwork. I have two separate artists doing two versions. Unfortunately, both of them seem to have hit snags in their personal lives, or their regular professional work has picked up.... Either way, I'm waiting. Although, I'm considering asking a third artist, but I don't know who I should ask.

Check out the artists for hire section on the main page!
There are some excellent artists there!

or go to the 2-d section and post a thread saying anyone who wants to draw it... You'll choose your favorite as the winner... or something like that.

Thats an interesting idea, but... I wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. If I were to hold this competition, I would probably offer 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards. They could post their drawings at about 1/3 to 1/2 size. Once the competition would be complete, I would give the awards, and recieve the 3 drawings.... Unfortunately, the person in 3rd place might feel cheeted at receiving less than what he / she might think their drawing is worth....
I think, I'll hold off on that. I've already approached 2 other artists. We'll see what they say before I might try something like the above.

whatever. Its not like you'd be saying, all you guys that didn't win, YOU SUCK! You are just saying, this one, this one is my favorite. Whenever I enter a contest I hope to win, but as of yet I haven't. I don't take it personally. I like the work I made and am glad I gave it a go. I keep my own work as my prize. If someone else gives me a compliment, top of the world.

Hmmm... Well, I'll have to see what these other artists that I've approached say. It would be bad of me to back out of an offer. If I don't hear anything within the next couple of days, I will consider the competition, and the money values awarded. Thanks for the idea.

She's just beautiful!
Where are those hands and face from? Are the hands actually that poseable or did you do a swap?
I'm always on the lookout for nice hands for projects.

The head is from the a Marvel Nova figure. The crest is from the female Knights of Zodiac figure (plus obvious Minicon bits).
The hands are switched, and came from an Aflodai from the Mazinger series.
Thanks for the compliments!

you know in looking back over your gallery, if you took off those minicon port arm things on her sides she would have much more of a feminin figure. When she has them folded up at her sides she looks a bit bulky. I'm not calling her fat, I mean she doesn't have a gut, but its like her ribs stick out alot.. big boned?

Hexwing: "Honey, do my minicon ports make me look fat?"
There IS no right answer. Instant death.
Well, I've thought of this, but in the end, Hexwing is a conqueror. Most conquerors have weapons. The hip weapons make her much more utilitarian. She'd still have the wide back with the posts removed. The post flaps can, however be made smaller in artists concepts..... the magic of the artists creative license.

I don't mind the back part, looks like a backpack instead of part of her torso. I see your point though. maybe I'll just draw them folded down by her legs like RID prowl's doors.
