the idea came from seing THS-02 and all the extras you get, mainly the rocket pack,
the circuit is partly soldered but parts are screwed down so i can add and remove extras like the gun and il make an energon axe when mine turns up lol
might do a matrix he can hold too , would have been nice to add light up eyes too but id need to find a spare head for that

I take it the rocket pack is Sideswipe's from MTMTE?

so, how does his rifle lights up, cause thats all I really care about.

i think the main idea was from sideswipes met with hts02 convoy and a bit of the g2 prime soundbox,
the gun has a short wire from the backpack, hopefull when i find the axe il be able to repo one and make something similer

although if you just want the gun to light up , you could get a few watch batteries in barrel above the handel and link up an LED

not your custom Masterpiece, he means THS02 alt mode isn't so good. Still, I say it beats Robotmasters alt mode.

on another note has anyone ever heard of a knee problem with these primes, ive seen a few problems
hips fall apart
feed pop off
head pop's off
face gets scratched

but i noticed his knee's had stopped clicking and got realy loose to the point he wont stand up, when i opened him up i noticed the gray barrel in the knee joints had snapped on both legs

ive melted them back now but it worried me for a bit and im not sure how long the fix will last

knee seems to be ok now but it was strange how both broke

I love the backpack! I do wonder, is the light for the axe the same one from the gun? The light is in the arm? Is the backpack scratch built? Can't wait til I start fooling with more electronics stuff.

back pack was made from two optimal optimus back packs, it even comes with electronics built in but i had to change it because of the way it holds onto prime,

the gun and axe are pritty much the same, just put LED's in them both but the axe need to be drilled and glued where as the gun i just took the green end out of the tip


theres screws on the right of the back pack where the wires twist onto

so both the gun and the axe run off of the backpack? (and the backpacks battery)?

what the... Chibi Galvatron VS Lio Convoy?? did you make those?

yeah all the lights run off the same battery in the backpack, the ultra bright led's wont run from watch bateries, but if you wanteds to you cou8ld probably hide the wires inside the arm.


the galvi and leo are from kits just primed them for painting

Nice looking light effects! As for the watch batteries, did you try several batteries in sequence? I got a little dollar store robot g.i.joe kind of thing a few years ago and it contained two separate ultra bright leds that ran off of three watch batteries with a straight wiring job with no capacitors or anything and those puppies could blind you!
