Cybertron Hot Rod (Excellion custom)

When I got Excellion, the first thing I did was swap his visor and weapon with Hot Shot's, 'cause the clear yellow looks way better with Excellion, and the clear blue weapon and gold visor look better on Hot Shot.
Of course, you know I couldn't leave well enough alone...
Some paint (and a minor hip-mod) later, I present "Cybertron Hot Rod"!
His head, torso, forearms and feet are now burgandy, while his Cyber Key port is now red with silver accents.

I dunno why Hasbro only painted half of the silver shoulder bits, but it didn't look right, so I painted the other half. Here, you see a close-up of his new torso apps.

The visor is just Hot Shot's clear yellow one, with a dab of transparent red in the top-center. His eyes are now transparent blue over silver. (I love the effect I got from the camera flash reflecting off the orange plastic through the sides of the visor!)

Here, you see a close-up of one of his now-burgandy arms, as well as the silver pipes, and I painted the bottom and tire-facing edges of the doors red. I'm gonna fix that on Hot Shot, too, when I find the right shade of blue.

And, finally, a close-up of his feet.

Next post: alt-mode!
