Just started getting back into this beast the last couple days and now that I found my way around the structure and transformation I now have the hard part out of the way.

The next couple days will be spent fine tuning the transformation, solidifying the structure and then start 2nd phase of structure adding more bulk as well as the tank treds.

I want to try and get him done in time for this years Botcon soo here's keeping fingers crossed.

Anyway, enjoy this picture of the mock up Alt mode and I'll add a photo soon after of the mockup Bot mode. Like I said, it'e pretty much ready for the punch. :twisted:

I'm trying to remember what the old legs and hip looked like but I can't. what I do remember is I love this bot.

is that the actual back cannon from a g1 megs? i have been on a tear to find either one of those cheap or something that looks the same....

That's incredible, seriously. I love the work you've done on the shoulder armour; the detail is beautiful. But what I love best about this so far is the face - it looks just as if Don's drawings have come to life, it's so close!

the best thing you could to G2 megatron's face. oh, and overlord, are you going to make his arm cannon bigger?

Um, no...it wasn't that big in the series. Keep in mind that it has to stay withing a size amount to become part of the tank.

Allright! I made some construction progress today.

The legs are now on nice and tight and transformable.

Now a little detail work.

Also, he will be finnished in time to be entered at Botcon so wish me luck all.

As an added bonus I'm also trying to finnish MP Menasor but don't count him in yet. Here is a sneek peek of the Feet for Motormaster.

I'm going with my original plan that Most saw entered in the TFW2005 Combiner contest over a year ago but i'm redoing MP prime considerably to turn into a Trailer instead of a cab for Motormaster.

Although not seen I have made some progress laste night with MP Motormaster and rebuilt the legs so I don't have to use the Diecast that was originally Primes legs. Now that the hardes part is out of the way it should be smooth sailing from here and he prob will be entered into the Diorama Contest at Botcon with a Bunch of Alts (Custom and original) against MP Mensor for a small battle.

This will be the best Botcon yet when it comes to Art entries. You can bet on that. Lobo and I will steal the show!!!

Finally some new stuff. I've been waiting to see this completed for a while now. Looks awesome. Nice idea using MP Prime's legs. Gives it more support. From the looks of things (this, Menasor, and Lobo's HoS Megatron) botcon 2006 art entries will indeed be nice. I'm working on a scratchbuild TWW Shockwave (concept art style) now but it won't be in the contest though since I'm not going this year.

Wow...one can only imagine the trials and tribulations you must go through to make some of this stuff.

In the pics, the piece looks so flawless...just amazing.

I wish we would get a Transformers - Titanium version of this! (Yes I actually do like Don's version...and I will buy it and love it, just sayign we could use more Megatron's to match all the Prime's we are gonna get...)

Aw, that's not true.

Remember last year VP won 1st with his WW Grimlock and 3rd won over Dev's peices and it was a stupid carded repainted c-3po with a Leia head for a Arcee custom. That's was robbery there.....Dev should have beaten that...

Between this and MP Menasor, I'm highly impressed with the amount of love and work going into these awesome bashes. I think you should be able to knock them out of the park with either them being submitted as an entry at Botcon. ^-^
