Dang, I really love the colors on these boys. Is that a foil sticker on Mach Alert's chest?

Hotshot is the young punk that can't seem to catch a break, constantly being outdone not only by his brothers Hotrod and Hotwire but seemingly by everyone else, every circuit of the underground rally he is bested, in highway mayhem by Grotesque, in downtown doubletime by Doublecross and just embarassed by repugnus in the down n dirty derby...
actually based on one of those annoying rice burner street rod idiots you'd see in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart in the middle of nowhere at 2am with the constant "YOU F!@#$%ng idoit you screwed up again !" syndrome, so much so that it will be Hotrod who takes the blame for Optimus' fall at Autobot city, but he makes for good story telling in the fact that there will always be a need for characters to associate with that do rise to the occassion even if it is for a fleeting moment... which is why Havok was always more interesting than Cyclops
in one part of the story echos a scene from TFTM on the way back to cybertron he and hotrod are sparring and he gets in a cheapshot and the ship is attacked while Hotrod is retaliating hotshot starts badgering "time out! Time Out! TIME OUT!"

MachAlert is the odd man out in Ironhide's security team, very rule driven and highly diciplined. Skilled in multiple forms of martial arts both Cybertronian and Terran. Think Jet Li in the beggining of "The One". Is prone to being very overbearing on his expectations of Others especially his brothers, often making excuses for them in order to maintain his status of being the "good one" He will have his time to shine a couple times in the story when he faces off against Rampage. But he is for the most part going to be a background player.

any ideas on a visor?

What make and color of paint is that on hot shot if you don't mind me asking?

That gold/yellow is Terrific! I have to add to the rest of the bunch here on that one. And I agree with you, you need to add that visor on him and he'll be perfect.

Woops totally forgot about the visor part of the conversation... Yes that will make a nice finishing touch!!!

silver mirror spray paint

with

Krylon X-metals yellow clear coat
(same used for the yellow window tint on Kickback, blue was used on Hotshot)

well, how about buying one of those cheap $.25 toys that come in a small plastic bubble. you could cut a piece from it and it will already be curved. just an idea......

Or there's the E-Scorponok visor like Squall used.

I love Mach Alert, it fits so well. I like what you've done to his face especially...
