Looks great to me! Considering this is your first attempt, I can only hope my first venture into scratchbuilding is as nice!

Yup, if you look over in Work in Progress on the second page I have Ultimus Prime and Megatron 2.0! Both are only sketch stage but the majority want to see megs first so I'm planning on starting the actual build this weekend (job permitting) It's really hard to find the time and the motivation at the same time to make that first step. Plus I am still "finding a work area in my garage!

It looks promising, I really want to see this project progress in the coming weeks/months/etc., though I'm a bit worried about these joints on the shoulders.(I wanted to use them on my first kitbash, but they have a tendency to split in the middle of the joint)
Might I ask where you got those gattling-guns from by the way?

If I may suggest something, considering the bulkiness of the arms you might want to make the chest a bit wider, and perchance put a folding radar-dish array on it?

It's looking better & better, the enbroadened chest gives a good bulky look.
As for an additional pivot, it migh come in handy for the transformation
(considering that the shoulder joints cannot flip the arms against the chest) and improve posabillity, eh?
Considering that you plan to use a modified form of that Omega Prime head,
well, will you remove the partial facemask,
turn it into a closed one or keep it as is?
If it's going to be a closed mask, the head might look better witha slight modification to make it look more like a knight.
(it's a bit too bulky for a ninja, eh?)
Whilst not suggesting that this should become Nightmare(Soul Calibur series),
it mightn't be a bad model for an evil knight if you want this bot to be a con.
