morning guys and girls

here is my first kitbash i started work on 2 months ago, then work, and moving house got in the way.

Headmaster Speedstreak is a fan fic character of mine that i though why not bring to life after my son trashed a couple of transformers and 2 Gundams.
he originally started out as a G1 nightbeat and then i gave him proper legs and some more lower articulation. I am not to happy with the hands but I am currently waiting for a box of kitbash fodder to arrive off T'Bay

Oooo... looking pretty good so far, 'specially for a first 'bash. What have you used to improve the leg articulation?

All i did was uncrew the legs and then gut down a bendy Primes waist to fit, you have to take off a fair bit at the front to allow the chest piece to sit properly, but the only problem was cutting the leg shell of Nightbeat (straight) and then shaving the innerpieces to allow the bendy Primes legs to fit in.

Colour wise i am going for white all over with red and blue accents and i am working on some decals for him as well

looking spiffy. Any chance of headmaster pics, bot and head? Also is that green a primer, or did you cast it? Keep up the nice work.

It's definitely a nice piece of work, I wonder what colours you'll give it?

What is that on the guy Dough it makes him look all prototype like( I gues it is bondo or soemthing? Do, tell) At first I thought u had made a little Alternator, like the Auto looper tropper I have sen several names lol, before I read the text.

I like the G1 feel with the new Articulation, but not so much that it is a Alternator, I like the old G1 feel plus the better joints.

lets answer a few questions

The head is a Alt smokescreen with sirens headmaster backing on it(i have a modded Hi-Q but i couldn't get the legs to attatch and fold so i used the headmaster.

and it is grey plastic primer that goes on green and dries to look like its a prototype grey, i got it from halfords (car shop) snd thanks for all the encouragement

bit of background for the character.

"once the fastest Racing car on cybertron, Speedstreak took an assigment to watch over a planet whos populace was just begining to experiment with energon, in this guise Speedstreak settled into his role and remained hidden as a racing car in the planets main sport- 10 years passed and 'Streak became obsolete, no longer the fastest he hid himself away in an old scrapyard and entered hibernation.
he was awoken by a young racer looking for his next street ride to compete in the burns, during this race decepticons attacked, wanting the planets rich energon deposites, as 'Streak fought back the young racer was injured and paraylized, 'Streak offered himself to help the young racer and instructing the doctors, Speedstreak became a headmaster and guardian of the planet."

his paintwork is meant to show that he has been sitting idle for a while, but nothing a new coat of poly won't cure

I LOVE the new chest plate. The head really fits aswell.
