what better way to be a body guard than to make yourself the target

and I put the seats on his back they pivot to allow the wheel base to come in 1/2 the way leaving a groove for the lower bumper to notch to make the shoulder plates

Dodge Ram

Ironhide
Allegiance: Autobot
Function: Bodyguard

?Ain?t no way no how nobody?s gonna get to Prime while I?m around, an that?s the bottom line??

Profile: "Go chew on a microchip," is Ironhide's calling card. Never the sort who likes to be told what to do, he prefers action to words. He refers to what he considers excessive talking as "leaking lubricant." He's the oldest Autobot, probably the toughest, most battle-tested and certainly the orneriest to have undergone the BT conversion. Due to his defensive capabilities, he is usually in charge of safekeeping anything or anyone of importance, and was the perfect candidate to be Commander Optimus Prime's personal bodyguard. During the Cosmic Rust plague Optimus had gone into seclusion, many feared he was one of the earliest victims. This was a plan set into action to offset the Decepticon advances. After eons of seeing his friend the unrelenting target of plot after plot, Ironhide decided the best way to protect Prime would be to become Prime. He emerged from the BT formatting presenting himself as Prime, leading the troops and offering himself in Prime?s place as a target to draw the Decepticons out, and only when they are already in his grasp does the unlucky ?decepticreep? get what?s coming to them. His gruff exterior hides his kind inner soul; his concern for the protection of life, whether mechanical or biochemical, extends to the lowliest gasketroid or smallest sparrow.

Abilities: Ironhide's skin is made of a trithyllium-steel alloy impregnated with irradiated carbon fibers, giving him immunity to most forms of artillery and electromagnetic attacks. He is the most nearly invulnerable of the Autobots. His main weapon is what he playfully calls his "water gun." It can shoot a stream of any number of liquids up to 1,000 feet. As well as a set of injector prongs on his forearms, which he can directly infuse his choice of chemicals directly. His choices include supercooled liquid nitrogen, superheated liquid lead, and a petro-chemical fluid that ignites upon contact. He also has sonar, radar, and a radiowave detector.

Weaknesses: His role as a decoy for Prime has made him exactly that, a target, the ever-increasing attempts to terminate prime are his inheritance. Be it, the machinations of Master Megatron, the manic obsession of Motormaster, whom feels he is Prime?s only true nemesis and sould be refered to as such, or the hunger for power that seems to fuel Grimlock. Of the current BT formats his has the highest fuel consumption for rate of activity. Some resent his ?that?s the bottom line? approach to most arguments, and as such feel it?s his problem when he gets in over his head.

Great 'cover' idea. I also like the shoulder/door kibble mod. Nice job. :)

sure it's actually really simple even without the seat mod

just compress the wheels in half way leaving a gap to notch the detached bumper portions and they seat rather well in the area behind the head, I'm at work right now but later I'll post some madden'ed blueprints
