Defensor turned out much better than I expected him to. I wasn't even going to customize him but then I thought "Who will fight Bruticus?"

That definately looks sweet. The only thing I don?t like about it is the removable head for Defensor. I actually prefer the stock head both asthetically, and because it isn?t a snap-on part. If there were a way to require no snap?on parts that would be even better IMO, but we can?t have everything. the fact that you still have the option of using the stock head makes up for it though.

Stone the crows, you keep on making these incredible kitbashes, this Defensor looks fantasti, as good as Bruticus.
The Head might be a bit too small though if I may express that opinion.

Erh, I have to ask, any plans for another set of super posable gestaltteams? (Predaking vs raiden for example?)

Amazing. Don't stop now, make all the the gestalts.

Dark Fool: He's made from Protectobots! :D Seriously though, all of the bots used legit figures as the bases except for Blades.

Tramp: I can understand how you feel. I wouldn't have even bothered to make a new head but I really wanted cartoon accuracy on this one. If I ever make an original design for a combiner, I'm gonna try my best to make sure it doesn't have removable kibble.

Skyfire: I think the head is a bit too small as well. I used a bootleg Defensor head because it was slightly bigger than the official one, but it was still a little too small to be perfect. I do have plans for other gestalts, but right now I want to take things a little slow and see what I have time for before the next convention.

Paul Prime: Man, I would love to make them all! I have some other projects I want to work on though so I don't think I'll ever finish all of them, but man I'd love to!

Thanks for all of the kind words and opinions peeps!

Yeah, I think Superion's next. ;)

These improved combiners really do look great. The fact that you've done so much extensive work on them really shows. I think Dev's still my favorite, but Defensor and Bruticus are excellent additions to your kitbash collection.

Yeah, I never really understood why they designed them to require so much removable kibble in the first place. None of the Voltrons? needed removable kibble to form their combined modes, and thode series came out before the TFs. Why should the Transformers? combiners have been designed to require them?

I can understand that, though I hope you might explain a bit on what joints you used in the seperate bots/cons as well as the arm/leg swivels in the gestalts?
In any case take a well earned break then ^_^.

Wow!

You really went ahead and made them!

I know some of us have been teasing you a bit with it a year or so ago, but I wasn't really sure if you'd actually do it.

After being away for quite a while this sure is a awesome couple of bashes to come back to! 8)

Kudos on the Brute and D-Fense. ;)
