Holy crap! Menchoy actually posted here! Welcome to the boards man. Link is beautiful. I like how he looks a bit more serious and less cartoony than he does in the video games.

That's a really well designed Link.

Looking forward to your future projects and welcome!!

That is definately a nice job. The only thing I would have done differently is i would have made the skirting of his tunic out of cloth instead of putty. That would have allowed him full range of motion in his hip joints. The putty eliminates the hip movement, which is unfortunate for an otherwise fantastic figure.

Awesome job! That is by far the best looking link I've ever seen!

Billybadass - thanks for the comment and I'm glad you like my TF customs as well. I made them from scratch using Styrene plastic, bionicle and gundam joints, and sculpted with apoxie sculpt.
Tramp - thanks man, yeah the lower tunic is made of rubber so he does have the same articulation as any other figures out there. Check out the pics of Link I attached below. One thing he can't do though is ride a horse, since the rubber can't stretch that wide.
Hobbyist prime - thanks man, just wanted to make my own version of how I wanted Link to look like, glad you like my taste.

Top notch bro. I'm not a Link/Zelda fan really but that is one great looking peice of art there and great choice of mold for it's original base. He also makes me think of the comic Poison Elves.
Last but not least I like how you incorperated the sheild and Sword into the Zelda logo in that one pic.
Just awesome man. I hope that we see and hear more from you. We could alwayd use more ideas from more creative fans.
Keep it up!

Thanks a lot Tfmaster for the kind works, I'm not quite aware of poison elves though. Yeah I'll definitely be around making customs, I really enjoy customizing, plus it's such a good way to relieve stress.

If the skirting of his tunic is rubber, then that works out well becasue it does allow leg movement.. It is definately better than putty. If you want him to be able to ride a horse, cut slits up the sides of the tuni’s skirting. That too will allow for more horizontal leg movement, and would still be accurate for that type of outfit. Many medieval tunics had such slits just for that purpose, either on the sides, or front and back (personally, having the cuts up the sides looks better, IMO).

fromwednesday - yup Shiek is definitely going to be made, just got the base figure for it. I'll start working on her as soon as I'm done with a couple of customs I'm already working on.
Tramp - That's a definitely good idea you got there for the tunic, I'll take that in consideration if I decided to make Epona for Link.

That is truly amazing. But, I don't really like it. I guess, having played OoT and Majora's Mask so many times, I can't see them as more realistic looking than they appear there. That Link looks ready to jump out in reality, but not really like you could press the reset button and have everything back to normal.
But don't you dare take that as a negative comment. I am in love with this, but I can't see it as the OoT Link I know. You crank out some fantastic figs man, don't stop doing it. How about a Zora or some boss next?Volga, maybe? Or Phantom Ganon? Or that Swamp Boss from MM. Odolwa of something. Ooh, and you could make masks for each... and then different items...Or what about a King of Ikana? Or a Garo? Maybe some mini-enemies.
And, I can't believe you forgot the annoying little thing above his head? Or, did you do us all a gigantic favor and kill her? You have my praise if you did.

Do you mean Navi? You Bastard!
..ok, yea, I wanted a mute button for her as well. But it would be funny to take a little glow in the dark bead, or cover something about that size in the inside liquid of a glow stick, and put it on a thin springy bent piece of wire coming off Link's back.

Yeah the Zelda world is just filled with very interesting characters, and I like to build as much of them as possible. I'm aiming for the bosses next time. for Navi the fairy I was thinking of just photoshoping her before, but I ended up not to.
