It's easy to see why this custom figure won first place at Botcon this year!

It won the botcon first place?
That's not hard to imagine, I may have said it before but
this is truly an astounding piece of work and
truth be told I have yet to find anyone to disagree
with me on that statement.

Congratulations Lobo

This is an amazing piece of work. I'm so inspired now. So inspired that I was looking at model steam engines last night! I think a HOS Bumblebee would be great! We will see how it goes.

Very simple, new people or people who have been away for a while checking on what has been done in the past and finding customs that they love and want to comment on them even if the thread is old. To them, it is new because they haven't seen it before.

Thanks for the compliment Deathknell.

I sure do. Eventually, I want to make all of the designs.
As soon as I get into my new house (which I'm dedicating an entire room as a workshop) I'm going to start on Shockwave or possibly Prime.

Do Shockwave. Everyone makes Prime Primes. Ol' mono eye needs love too.

Lobo, it's your work here that inspired me to work on a HoS Insectrain. Of course this is my first attempt at a project and I've no idea what I'm doing, haha.
I love the HoS designs so much I wanted to do them all, even that HoS Blitzwing looking guy. I figured Shockwave would be most complex with all those components. In any case, like everyone else, I'm eagerly salivating over what you have in store for us next.

I went out to the hobby store and to Home Depot last night. I started picking up parts to build HOS Bumblebee. I need to hit Toys R' Us or Walmart tonight to see what I can use figure wise for bits. This will be my first attempt at scratch building too. I figure BB would probably be the easiest of the bunch to start with.
Don't hold your breath for much to happen till June though guys. I'm a school teacher and won't really have time till then. I may get a few little things done though. If I do I'll post pics.
Yeah I deffinately have to say that while there are many many awsome projects on this site Lobo has deffinately been the most inspirational.
OH...almost forgot to mention. I found an old ERTL Datsun 280 turbo model at the hobby store last night. They often have old kits lyin round. I had originall found one on Ebay for about 10 bucks. This one was $15 though. I'm thinking I'll also have an Alternator reskin in the works

He does! But Megatron needs someone to beat up.

Never left. Just been busy with life stuff.

That makes me wonder...we never did see a Hearts of Steel: Soundwave did we? Ravage, but not Soundwave. Wonder what SW could be?

There's a HoS "BW" mode char walking around in the background of #2, p.5. He's got the battery-cannon-sound-detector thing on the correct shoulder, a simplified but correctly-shaped head, and Soundwave legs. But don't recall seeing him depicted as "industrialized" anywhere (and #2 is the only issue I have hehe). Open design?

I'm glad to learn things are working well for you Lobo. You've obviously had some big changes in your life and it's great to know that you'll still be putting out some amazing work.
