ive been playing with mp starscream for a week or so now, i didnt like the shell on the side of his sholder thruster things, i think you can glue them on to the wings but havent tryed it properly yet, as far as i can see it works fine, looked like it worked ok on the prototype

other things ive noticed
would the big pvc starscreams crown be able to be modified to fit mp screamer, his head looks smaller then most alts so might work
and does anyone know what the tabs on the edge of his sholders are for, they move round but dont seem to have any function to me, i think im missing something

I think it's been said that the things on the shoulders are to mount the shoulder pieces for the cape. I think there are rumors of an excusive G1 colored Starscream that will come with the crown and cape pieces.

the stand clips onto the blue part in the middle, the cape definatly makes sencebut i dunno how it would hang with the parts on the side of his hips now

you know, I looked at the pictures but I didn't comment on them. It's an interesting idea. You have really clear pictures, so you should take some more so we can get a better look.
You should try to modify the hip wings so they stay connected to his lower-legs. they're longer than his heels, so parts need to slide or fold up to make room.
I wonder if those bits on the side of his forearm could come off, or if it's the same part as his forearm and would have to be sawed in half... he would end up with even MORE kibble on his back, but damn I hate those changes they made.

il take any pictures i can, mp figures love the camera lol
i dont want to cut this screamer up as he was a gift but once the hasbro one comes out he will go under the saw
this one if the proto i looked at

this one is all the extra parts they added to the final version, i think your right they probably could be cut off, but you woudl need to drill a new hole for the arm gun.
they might look bad on the back but a lto beter then on the arms

i was thinking of cutting off is the top of the part they ball jointed onto the hip, so everything from the side is pritty much stuck together

if you cut the part off the top of the new sliding leg kibble, it would side up to be flush with the knee, other wise if it just slides up it will be upto the hip

You'll need to do alittle more than drill a new hole.

But it's worth the extra work in my opinion.

I kinda like the extra bulk on his forearms. Not a fan of the hip kibble though, I know what they were going for, but I don't think it looks very good.

The "mystery pieces" are speculated to be for something comming up down the road. No clue what yet though.

I dunno... that's a long strip of kibble to be trying to fit elsewhere... especially with Lycanthropic showing us that indeed it does require a lot of work to get the bulk off his arms.
I would almost leave the parts on the sides of his air intakes, assuming they would fit with his shoulders flipped out in robot mode.

i dunno how lycanthropictendencies cut the parts off but it does look a little rough, it mgiht just be the plastic though it is a bit brittle, id have maybe tryed it with a hot knife, but im glad ive seen it done before i tryed it
ur probably right about it being too much ravage, it probably wouldnt transform well unless instead of putthing them on the wings maybe just glue them to the part on the back of his sholder, but im starting to think like tentagil and they are growing on me, i guess even g1 screamer has the plane shell on his arms
another mod i thort of was to cut the green parts off his hips and glue them to the top of his leg as he cant lift his legs up much as they are, but im questioning that now as the changes they made from the origional prototype have probably been done for a reason
i only started because i wanted rid of the parts in the very first picture and figure out how to put the parts off his hips back on his legs, but since ive had him even his colour has grown on me

The roughness was my fault.
I realized the arms were hollow and would need plenty of green stuff type work, and I didn't have any need for the extra kibble so it was a rush job.
The plastic doesn't help though and even careful cutting can cause the plastic to stress and begin to tear.

yeah the plastic is a bit crazy, i keep thinking mine will snap in places it had stress marks from the first time i transformed it

[soft, councillery voice] you need to accept that sunstorm is gone. he was never real. i advise you to seek counciling.[end soft voice]

Actually I've never been a big fan of the character, any character with God Like powers other then something like Primus or Unicron that rarely directly gets involved annoy me. I mean that level of power is to me usually a cop out.
But that head on that body just screams out the name. And regardless of my opinions of the character, its still a pretty neat color scheme and with that head would look very cool IMHO.

The only real problem with using that head though, is that Sunstorm is supposed to be Starscream’s identical twin in all except color; a literal clone of Starscream. As such, he wouldn’t have a different head.
