I'm not sure who this is supposed to be, but it looks good so far. P.S. If you use the IMG on your Photobucket pics you can copy and paste pics directly to your posts. good luck. Looking forward to more work from another new basher.
now you have over 50 views. I know how you feel, I have to be real patient waiting for replies, especially when I think I've done a great job. It just takes time for the right people to be online and see your work. 50 people have seen your work, but there is probably a thousand more to come and they will have plenty to say, good and constructive critisism both. How about some more pics.

This is true, there have been many a vector prime repaint. He just lends himself well to it. I was consider doing an actual bash on him, but i just wanted to see how well i could invoke the character through just repainting.

Personally, I don?t think Vector Prime is not the best choice to do Megatron. The two characters better suited for Vector Prime-based bashes or repaints are Alpha Trion and G1 Cyclonus. You will find that most bashes using that figure revolv around those two characters.

i really dont understand what you just tried to say... cause of the double negative and all. When i was thinking about this repaint, i just came to the conclusion that VP was the best Cybertron mold to use. I can't think of any other that have similiar attributes, such as the large orb in the middle of the chest, and wings. Plus, i thought since his mini-con looks so great as an arm cannon, that it would be a cool little G-1 homage.

Personally, I think a new head type would make him perfect.
A personalizing suggestion would be to put holes in the pylons/wings, similar to the wings on the real TM2 dragon toy. It'd be pretty easy considering the plastic is that soft rubberized type. But that'd be up to you, as it would mean ruining the pylons to a degree.

Pretty good. Redo the head though

The holes in the wings are a pretty good idea... and i'm thinking about getting a hold of an energon megs head and use that, sans the horns of course. Anybody have an extra one lying around somewhere?

actually, I thought that the swoop from VP bash someone did here turned out quite swell too.

The best VP bash to date is definitely Swoop.

I really like the red paint you used. And I see the similarities. One thing that really does tend to scream Beast Wars Megs (all versions of him) to me is asymmetrical transformation scheme, at least from the waist up. Think about it. All three (and I guess BM Megs too) have the beast legs form the bot legs, and the bot torso turns 90' with one arm being the neck and head.
Anyways, I still like the overall look you got, and kudos for being the first one I've seen do it even though VP has been around for a while now. While Cyclonus and A3 are the first things that come to mind when I look at VP, that also tends to mean it's going to be harder to impress me with the bash, because everyone has had the same idea. Glad to see your first work is outside the box.

Hahah. TM Megatron isn't asymetrical!

neither is Megabolt, although he doesn't really count.
anyways, it's a nice idea. I think it would really help if you could get better pictures. Personally, I would be more interested in seeing a sorta-G1 Megatron from VP. He already made me think of Megatron when I first saw him. (actually, strangely enough so did Energon Strongarm -_-; )
