sorry for the cell phone pics but atm this is all i have untill i find the cable to upload pics via my digicam but here is my version of Ultra Magnus plus what I've done as far as mounting the stack gun to his shoulders.





Mounting pieces on the handle were donated from extra Star Wars titanium fleet ships and they fit perfectly in the screw holes on the back of the shoulders... Now I just need to mount the rocket launchers

Ingenious smokestack shoulderpad thing going on there. I haven't seen anyone do that yet, but it's so simple.

OMG! You did the red in the gaps in his leg plates! It looks great! That was something I had for my idea as well! I'm guessing yours are only in the square areas, not in the cracks that stretch out to the sides. on mine I wanted to make it look like fire was radiating from under the vents, both on his legs and his abdomen grill.

Where are you going to be putting the rockets? How about on the end of his smokestack gun? heheh.

Damn, I gotta get that MyClone. Wave 2 is my favorite, but I also gotta get Magnus. I should just cave in and get all of wave 1, as dull as Arcee and truck Prime are. All I have is Metroplex, Trypticon, and Thrust.

As for the misslie launchers im thinking of rotating mounts on the top of the stack guns above the larger hand guard so when they are mounted to the shoulder they swivel down to normal posistion in bot mode.

As for the plates I seen a few with the vent fully painted red partally painted red etc... I just figured they looked better this way

and besides the head from the myclone i hacked off the mini Vehicle thing that goes on it's chest for the piece under the windsheild on Cl Mag

I knew someone would use the stack to simulate the protrusions sooner or later - it was just a matter of who and when. Nicely done. Are you leaving the thighs 'toon white, or going the toy route and painting them red (I vote red, personally)?

I left them white as per the toon look but everything else thus far besides the head is based off the toy

I love the finished product. And having the smokestacks on his shoulders in bot-mode was a brilliant idea. Definitely the best Classics Mags I've seen so far.

I agree, that is the best looking Custom Ultra Magnus, especially since it's actually a Magnus head, not just a repaint of the normal/Optimus Head.

Im going to try to get Vehicle pics up as well since the original Blue on the truck it's self has been painted darker to match the rest of the blue on the bot mode.

I have to admit that this is the best Classics Ultra Magnus interpretation I have seen so far.
