The Energon Pub

This is a commission I'm doing for keeblezak. He wanted Overcast (cybertron minicon of the Giant Planet Team) to have elbows. I also gave him normal fists as opposed to the claw missile launchers he came with, because in order to keep them, his straightened arm would have a funky chicken leg bend in the middle of it.

I got the ball joints from the hips of a second overcast, the sockets from the shoulders of the extra, and the gloves already in silver plastic from Over-Run. I also drilled out fist holes because the front of the hand was hard to identify.

That improvement is very cool. I like the arms bent so we I can see them. It makes his fist looks like bombs and what not

i hope you don't mind jimsloth, but i would like to publicly thank you for your excellent work on this peice, as it is literally what i wanted down to a t. i cannot wait to pay and then recieve this

I did take a photoshoot of this little guy before I mailed him off. (he already arrived at this point) I thought I'd share a few of the photos here. And Again, I'm going on the record saying I love Fishing Line. Nothing quite makes a bot look like they're flying like thin clear string suspending them in front of a window.




The following shot I used a little blur tool on the fishing line and cropped slightly. The other five are just as I shot them.

Nice shots there. I especially like the ones of Overcast and Sunrunner together. The fishing line is a fantastic idea.

and since i recieved it last monday, i have also fpond that he can have a hovering effect using twistie ties as well by plugging them into his fists.

Very neat that is the gun from Metal Head, wow I can not believe I remembered that
