My first TF Scratchbuild, i made it as a work for the "Printing Systems" class in the school.

I repainted it after the school use (as a big stamp)

yes there is.. but stop and think.. not everyone has the ability to get ahold of certain things.. i have ppl tell me all the time with my customs that i need to use milliput or green stuff instead of the plumbers epoxy i have... guess what.. thats all i have readily availible.. so i cant use the other stuff... so maybe he did the best he could with whats handy... :)

Depending on the projcect they may have wanted him to do it template free, or perhaps he couldn't get a template, or maybe he jsut wanted to do free hand. In any case its a pretty good job.

sorry for the critisizing back there. The templates are available throughout the world, anyway, perhaps if you measured the parts i'd like it better, anyway,i like the colours and the fact that you combined crafting and transformers. i have an autobot symbol burnt into wood laying around, maybe i'll posts some pics too.

i live in holland, and if something is available here, then trust me,there ain't not place where they don't. templates migh be expensive where he livees though, and i understand that if he only makes one craft he'd rather not spend a lot on something he'd use only once.

holy crap! Dude, he made it at school! it doens't need to be perfect! It still looks great by drawing it and carving it. Holy Sh*t Rhinox, quit over criticising ppl's work. It's his first, so give him helpful hints as what to do if he was to do it again. Quit saying this is how it should be done. Who the fu*k cares if there are templated or not! I've been on these boards almost since the beginning. I may not post too much now a days, but still. and I have been reading a lot of what you are saying, and how you hate something, or think it would be better like this, or they "SHOULD" have done this. The most helpful cricism, is constructive criticism. Give a complement, and suggest some improvements.

and Sturmvogel Prime, it looks great. Brings me back to the days when I was at school...

You should actually read my posts before using profanity.

I also take you didn't hear of the first ammendmend? right of free speech? i was just giving an opinion.

hey, that's fine that you say it after the fact, but maybe you should read your first post in this thread. and every other thread you use extreme criticism.

and for free speech. I'm not disputing it. But do you seriously think it's right to be plainly negative about somone's work? Sure, there are things I don't like, and hell, if I really don't like it, I won't post it. but in this community, there's got to be a balance between the negative and positive. pick the aspects that are good, and suggest options to improve on other area's. But jesus, this was a guys school project.

Okay, but you didn't even read if maybe i had apologized in a later post.

Also, what do you mean by every other thread?there were only two threads where i even gave the least bit of critisizing.

any subversion of school time into transformers time is good. It is rough but everyone has got to start somewhere. whats important is if the next work improves in execution. that is the mark of an artist.
