Dawm of Futures Past Grimlock
Posted: Thu Aug 02, 2007 12:40 ambeen working on this one for a few months. finally finished it yesterday. and with all my customs, i've included a bio to accompany the figure
He is Grimlock. Once one of the leader of the Dinobots and one of the most feared Autobot warriors, Grimlock now finds himself in an unfamiliar position. After the Maximal upgrades were forced upon him by the new Maximal command, Grimlock felt like he never truly fit in. No longer was he used on the battlefield, instead being thrown into secret meetings planning out battles. Grimlock always felt the Maximals did him wrong. He always fought with his hands, but the Maximals took away his sword and replaced one hand with the head from his beast mode. After finally pleading with the Council, Grimlock was re-commissioned for the field. He was assigned to the Axalon where he would wait in status for his top secret mission, of which he nor Optimus Primal knew. When the Axalon dropped the evil and horrifying Protoform X, Grimlock's stasis pod was to be magnetically locked to X's pod and would follow X down. On whatever planet they landed on, Grimlock was supposed to be thrown back into battle to hopefully destroy the Maximals' awful secret. But history did not play out how the Maximals wanted.....
and just so you can see, his eyes in robot mode are blue. this is an older wip picture so the silver hadn't been put on yet and i hadn't decided to paint the chin black
