Light Up Barricade TUTORIAL!

Hey there folks! The tutorial is done and ready for viewing. Please don't ask if I can mail whistles out because I just don't have time to fill hundreds of orders like that. You can find them at the Dollar Tree and if you don't have one close by, see if you can get a friend from the boards here to get you one. Or you can check my EBay auctions because I'll occasionally have altered light kits on there. I wish I could make hundreds of them to supply everyone but there's just one of me, heh.

Jin thank you so much for this tip, I have my LEDs on order from a guy on TFW and I'll be hooking this up next week.

HELP!!!!

I've tried to do this 3 times now! I bought the whistle you show, I think. The ones I've bought have 3 leds lights..a blue, red, and a green...the circuit board is round and looks like this..the "on" button at the 12 o'clock position..led at the 1...battery at the 3..led at the 5 battery at the six...led at the 9 and a battery at the 11 o'clock positions...Is this the same as yours? Now I've never done this sort of mod before so I'm not sure what's going on. As soon as I start to trim down the board like in your tutorial, it stops flashing like the circuit is broken or something...I've done this 3 times.... What am I doing wrong?

Looking at your pics..it look like your batteries are in a stack?

Wrong whistle. The whistle should have one red and one blue light. The circuitboard is tiny so you don't have to cut it to get it to fit. Like he shows in the tutorial, the only prep you need to do once you remove the lights from the whistle is to gently bend the LEDs so they face the same direction.

Thats all I can find around here. My wife are planning a trip to the US in a few weeks so I hope I can find a couple down there. I have seen the "light kits" on ebay for about $6.00 US. What dollar store am I looking for, Dollar General or Dollar Tree or some other one?
