Classics Cyclonus and The Fallen!

This week I have two more Transformers Classics for you all, Cyclonus and The Fallen! Cyclonus was made from the smaller Toys R Us exclusive voyager Energon Megatron. I decided to paint him purple after quite a few people told me that dark blue such as Galvatron, really is suppose to be purple. Most of the art I found for Cyclonus depicted him purple too. I gave him magnetically attaching hands so at least one part of him could be removable because I love extra parts. His paint scheme is pretty complex with a basecoat of violet, line wash of dark blue, then highlights of light blue along with the different shades of purple and blue on him.
The Fallen was my attempt to make something useful out of the Classics Megatron from that Ultimate Battle 2-pack that came with Optimus Prime. I used the head of the Titanium Fallen (which infuriated me as it fell apart/became loose every time I'd pick it up so it had to die), gave him a new right hand, and a magnetic collar of flame that attaches to him. The paint scheme is easy! Basecoat black, line in with bright orange, then line in the middle of those lines with bright yellow.

Those two look great Jin, especially the Fallen. It may not be completely comic accurate, but it is ten times more accurate than the Titanium version. If I may make a suggestion though. If you want to make him even more accurate, replace the side guns with a single shoulder-mounted 5-shot rocket pod.
You are a master.

the fallen is awesome,cyclonus,well. he doesnt look like cyclonus to me.
if you'd use that head for a movie cyclonus though,you'd have another worshipped bash. the "not cyclonussy" factor aside,the quality looks stunning again. so...planning anything with the 2-pack prine? (cough cough,ultra magnus cough cough

)

Hah! I so cheated here. Find a small robot figure, remove the hand. Drill a hole in the end, stick it on the peg that protrudes from the gun when folded. Done!

<snip>
There is a picture of his tank mode in MtMtE #8 on page 26, as well as agood shot of his robot mode on page 25. In robot mode, the pod sits on his left shoulder, and in tank mode, sits to the right of the main gun. If you were to make the pod for yours though, you would have to mount it on his right shoulder for it to sit to the left of his main gun in tank mode. If you want, I could scan the images.

Please do scan them, I don't collect the comics anymore as there's no more comic stores in my area. I'm outta luck unless I can find pics on the net or have people scan them for me.

Why? In cartoon and most everything I've seen, Galvatron is larger.

and...............
the junkions robot modes are to scale with the autobots, and the motorbike modes are to scale with human vehicles......yet they quite happily ride around on each other. thats bugged me ever since i saw the movie all those years ago....more so than the other mass shifting....don't know why.

They transform into huge motorbikes that are big enough for regular-sized Autobots to ride. I don't recall seeing any humans riding them or them being next to any human vehicles.

Wait, wait... I know where all of this is headed..
AMG, WHERE DOES PRIME'S TRAILER GO WHEN HE TRANSFORMS?!?!
Tah-dah! That blows any other size/mass-shifing problems away and ends the debate really fast. Nobody knows. Nobody will ever know. Nobody cares.

Yes yes, nobody cares. That's why this question comes up over and over again since 1984.

It goes into that little cloud-puff thing. Makes perfect sense to me! Now, who else wants to subscribe to the 'Megatron Diet'? Lose 50 tonnes in 3 splits of a second!
