Alt mode sections painted with car grade paint and primer to eliminate chipping and applied by airbrush. Bot mode parts are a mix of enamels and acrylics...id say 70/30 in favor of enamels. I was pleased with how he turned out but i just didnt feel accomplished, stuff still bothers me about it so i'll probably re-do this project some other time when i have enough money for another Prime mold.

Sorry the pics suck but the lighting in my house sucks and i dont have a light tent yet.

Feedback is welcome! Thanks.

OMG, this is hella awesome! Those "premium" figures that hasbro is making right now are **** when comparet to this beauty. it it really hard for a company not to make a toy that doesn't look like a cheap knockoff?
As i said before, a fan will always do things better than the original creators.

Well i think the problem with big businesses like Hasbro is they need to churn out these things really quickly. They need to make them for the lowest price possible as well. Considering that work like this takes many hours and quite a bit of dough to pay for materials that sorta thing would really bring their profits down so they use the cheapest alternative possible.

Fans have infinite time to spend on these things and a lot more resources. Im sure the designers at Hasbro have huge imaginations and could easily produce something like this with their eyes closed, but the bean counters say "no it has to be done cheaply or else we cant male a huge profit and buy our new BMW's!".

You're my hero Sonray. I don't think anyone could say this mold was the inferior of the 2 main-line movie Primes after seeing this. The details are stunning.
