I wanted to make a base bot to go with my Fort Max. So here is my custom Trypticon. I went with the toon black as the main color.

First is base mode:

airstrip/runway:

Full Tilt:

Assault Vehicle mode ("Battlecruiser operational". Starcraft anyone?):

Full Tilt can be stored as shown or can transform to gun mode and placed in the minicon port (as if Trypticon needed more guns):

Image

Beast mode (yes, I know he's not a T-Rex but he is a beast. And since he has 2 heads I made the other one have horns like Gigastorm):

Image

Back cannons, mouth guns, and hidden hand guns:

Here he is next to my dusty Fort Max custom. As you can see he is as big as Fort Max:

Here are some pics showing that each head can move forward independent of each other (joints at bottom of neck as well as top of neck):

Awesome custom. Who did you use as a base and parts?

It looks like he used Galaxy Force Master Megatron for the bulk of it and added parts from misc Energon figures. I think I saw some Barricade and Wing Saber in there.

The Beast-mode could have more of a bulky hunch if you ask me.

very nice

Now lets play spot the parts!

Energon Wingsaber for the feet and heads,
Cybetron Megatron for the main body,
Energon Grimlock for the arms,
Classics Jetfire for the flip guns
and a few misc parts from Barricade and others.

But I have to ask, what did you use for the Assault Vehicle mode, the white part what it sits on. That and the tail I have no idea.
But still an awesome build. ;)^

I used E. Wingsaber and E. Barricade as the for the bulk of the body, parts of C. Megatron for the chest and rocket booster for the back pack, Energon Grimlocks legs for the arms, Classics Jetfire cannons and his rocket thrust for the Battlecruiser's thrusts. The rest are scratchbuilt (the tail, back pack, runway, launch pad, upper portion of the 2 heads). I think that's it. :D Yep it's a real Frankenstein approach but there isn't an existing mode out there (transformers or otherwise) that lends well to making a Trypticon like this so I had to be a bit more creative

Very awesome custom. The beast mode reminds me of a Zoid.

Looks very nice. The two heads is a very nice personal touch, and works very well in the figure's favor.

I look forward to whatever your next project is.

Awesome custom, how sturdy is it in the different modes?

it's actually very sturdy in all 3 modes. The main parts (Barricade and Wing Saber) are attached via there respectively combiner parts via the blocks shown below. I knew a custom this big will not hold up with just glue so the other parts are attached via screws.

Very nice! Trypticon's awesome and you've definately done him justice. But I can't help noticing there's no Brunt! No matter, I'm in the middle of planning a custom Brunt (now with added robot mode!) myself. We'll have to get the two together sometime :P

As much as I love this piece, and I do, I think it would have still been better if you would have been able to compine the legs to become one head/body piece. It's still great, but the two heads seem too thin on their own.

Awesome, VP!

But since he's called Trypticon, can you put an extra head on there? :P

Let me know.
