Door wings for FAB Bumblebee

So FAB BB is prob the best FAB IMHO, w/ both elbows and knees, and a nice chunky alt mode. But his doors act as carrier panels to support his arms, and fold forward for robot mode instead of hanging off his back like wings. So I cut the doors in half, including the hinge, and pinned them in so the upper and lower halves can move separately on the same axis. Long story short, door-wings that are more movie-accurate:

The cuts are a little rough, the blade on my cutter is a little less sharp than I would like. I also messed up the right door on my first try, so I glued/taped it together for now, I'll see if the super glue holds, if not I'll epoxy it on the inside. I need better pics, tho, I'm using nails but they're not very secure bec. the bottom ends can't grab the plastic like the tops do.

The only effect on the alt mode is an extra seam on the doors.

Comments please!

Excellent simple mod! I just picked one of those up a few days ago and haven't opened it yet, now I might have to.

I've been thinking of a way to do that for a while now. I'll gladly rip your idea if I can find a nice sharp blade to cut with.

Good work.
