Swearing and cursing helps apparently.
I like him! Interesting blend of G2 Megatron and Armada Megatron to create him!

Hi Burn,
Great pick up. Most of the pieces do come from the 2 Megatron figure. However, there's a little more to it than just the megatron.
Let me know if you can spot it.
Kindest regards,

And the lower legs of Movie Leader Brawl.
As for the kitbash, you reallly did a great job giving Warpath his dues. The only problem I see is the tanks cannon section seems too far forward. But i'm no expert on it, so it could be what some tanks do.
Great stuff, and hope to see more.

Looks good. Very nice paint job. It's unfortunate though that the arms and leg extensions have to be removed in tank mode. One question...the piece to the left of the head sticks up. Is that intentional or can that be pressed down to give it a cleaner look?

Hi all,
Thanks for all the comments.
To Viagra Prime's query, I am still a little beginner at the molds but the left and right hand side of the head where it shoots up is intentional. I tried the rounded head look as per menchoy's and I felt that the head looked too much like a turtle shell so I added the sides so that it looks more like a leader head (ie Prime/Soundwave).
Regarding Sherade's comments, thanks for that. I did try to push it back and originally I did. However, when pushed back, the figure looks out of proportion although more like G1, I thought it looked better in Robot mode and sacrificed a little in tank mode.
Regarding Burn and Sherades query, the lower feet and Arm armory extension are from RID Magnus/Prime, the body is G2 Meg and arms are from Armada Megs.
Keep those comments coming. Its the only way I can improve and thanks for the comments so far. I will try to improve in my next custom.
Thanks for the comments guys. Would love to hear your feedback on my other customs. I am interested to see what people thought of the Megatron custom also.

zam zow. had to throw that in there. I can't get enough of warpath. One of these days, I have to get that Sheridan out of it's box. great color choice and I like the size. It's an interesting take on this classic. again, nice to have you on board.

Wheeljack,
Great to be onboard and part of the Custom Community. You can imagine, its a small community here in Aust.
Thanks for your comments and I am really glad you like it.
I respect all comments from other members, especially Sheridan as thats the only way I can improve.
BTW, great forum you have here and I will aim to put more customs up as I come up with ideas.
There have been some great customs of Warpath, the one I love the most is by Menchoy, Jin has done a great one but someone paid over $500 for a Deluxe size figure.. not sure about that... There is another now on eBay by Dan Saoto. Not sure if I like that one.
Lastly, have you had a look at the Custom Megatron. Interested to hear your thoughts on the custom.
Regards,
kelvinchang99

I'm not sure if you want to go back and change things about this custom but if you want to try to improve upon the above, then maybe you can have the tank turret portion sit on a sliding mechanism. That way, you can slide the turret back in tank mode and slide it forward in bot mode.

Yeah it is. We tend to hide and pop out when people least expect it.
So which part of Australia are you in?

Hi Burn and V Prime,
Regarding the VPrime's suggestion, thats a great idea. I need to create a slide so that it can move back and forth. I will see what I can do with this. Dont mind revisiting again.
Thanks for the tip. BTW, thats a great pic in your signature... Is that your custom.. What a piece.
Burn, I am in Sydney Australia. You sound like you are in our part of the land. Where are you at.. I am slowly getting to know a few people here that are diehard fans. Let me know.

Hi Burn,
Yeah, not too far and not too close. Well, feel free to drop me a line to discuss customs.
Always happy to meet people locally.
Also, there is a good site in Aust with a forum there too.
http://www.transfiguretoys.com. You can join the forum there for discussion.

Kelvin

I'm more of a
TAAU guy myself. That and I barely have enough time to keep up with this place let alone other forums.

Hi Olokin,
Sorry, my old site dissappeared on me when the ISP went down.
I have a new site and the pics of Warpath can be found here.
http://www.freewebs.com/kelvinchang99/Sorry for the inconvenience.
Also, thank you for the comments on the G1 Megatron. The body is of Energon series, the head is using G2 Megs but repainted and slightly modified.
Let me know if you still have any troubles seeing the pics on the site.

kelvinchang99
